The Humanist Party (Danish : Det Humanistiske Parti) was a political party in Denmark and is a member of the Humanist International.
The party was established in 1987 and participated the general election held that year. [1] The last time the party went for general elections in Denmark was 1993. At the beginning of the 2000s the party was headed by Christian Adamsen. [2] It stood in the regional and municipal elections in Denmark 15 November 2005.
The region covers 30% of the population, that is 1.6 million persons. Inside this region the Humanist Party is also present in the town of Copenhagen with 0.5 million inhabitants.

The party was founded in April 1970 as the Christian People's Party to oppose the liberalization of restrictions on pornography and the legalization of abortion. Originally, the party was not considered part of the European Christian-democratic tradition, and it was better known as a religious conservative party.
The Red–Green Alliance or Unity List is an eco-socialist political party in Denmark. The Øresund Region, also known as Greater Copenhagen for marketing purposes, is a metropolitan region that comprises eastern Denmark and Skåne in southern Sweden. Siân Rebecca Berry is a British politician who served as Co-Leader of the Green Party of England and Wales alongside Jonathan Bartley from 2018 to 2021, and as its sole leader from July to October 2021. From 2006 to 2007, she was one of the Green Party's principal speakers.

The 2016 United States presidential election was the 58th quadrennial presidential election, held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. The Republican ticket of businessman Donald Trump and Indiana governor Mike Pence defeated the Democratic ticket of former secretary of state Hillary Clinton and the United States senator from Virginia Tim Kaine, in what was considered one of the greatest upsets in American history. Trump took office as the 45th president, and Pence as the 48th vice president, on January 20, 2017. It was the fifth and most recent presidential election in which the winning candidate lost the popular vote. It was also the sixth and most recent presidential election in which both major party candidates were registered in the same home state, with the others being in 1860, 1904, 1920, 1940, and 1944.
