In Between is the fifth studio album by Paul van Dyk released on August 14, 2007. The album features a wide range of collaborations including David Byrne of Talking Heads, Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls, Ashley Tomberlin of Luminary, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Lo-Fi Sugar, Rea Garvey of Reamonn, Ryan Merchant and Wayne Jackson. The latter had collaborated earlier with Paul van Dyk on the song "The Other Side". The album also features a vocal sample of Ben Lost from Probspot's "Blows My Mind" on the song "Another Sunday".

The first single "White Lies" was released on July 31, 2007 and features vocals from Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls. The album is sold as a mixed CD in stores while it is sold unmixed on iTunes and van Dyk's own online store (as the "DJ Friendly Version"), and a bonus track called "Next Generation" was offered exclusively only by pre-order prior to the album's release, via iTunes. It is also sold unmixed on Rhapsody and Napster. There is also a bonus track that is available from the Vonyc webstore. The track is "Paul van Dyk & Starkillers & Austin Leeds feat. Ashley Tomberlin – New York City (Central Park Remix)".

The album reached No. 115 on The Billboard 200 and No. 2 on the Top Electronic Albums and Top Heatseekers charts. [2] The album also reached number-sixteen on the Mexican Albums Chart and number-five on the International Chart. [3] [4]

"White Lies" and "Let Go" have had videos produced and have been released as singles off the album.

Hands on In Between is a remix album from Paul van Dyk, released on 24 November 2008. This album consists of two CDs of remixed songs featured on the original In Between album in 2007. Selections from this album were remixed by various trance artists in the scene. It also includes the winning remix from van Dyk's "Far Away Remix Competition" featured on Beatport earlier in the year. The winning remix was promised a release, in which progressive trance producer Mateo Murphy was given the honour. As well as a release on the "Far Away" single, his remix made it onto this compilation too.

Giuseppe Ottaviani is an Italian DJ and record producer. He's best known for his 2019 album, EVOLVER, which included the hit singles Tranceland, 8K, & Panama. A long-time veteran of trance music, Ottaviani is also a member of the project Pure NRG with British producer Solarstone.

Betsie Larkin is an American vocalist, songwriter and guest writer/vocalist based in San Francisco, California, United States. Her first EDM collaborations with Ferry Corsten, "Made of Love" and "Feel You", appeared on Corsten's album Twice in a Blue Moon. Soon after its release, the single "Made of Love" made the top 40 in the Netherlands. In 2008 it was voted the fifth track overall on Armin Van Buuren's radio program A State of Trance, number one on Above and Beyond Group Therapy Radio, and reached the number one position on Corsten's Countdown's 100th episode. "Made of Love" was the second single and the first vocal track to be released from the Twice In A Blue Moon album. There is also an official video. Larkin joined Corsten as his tour kicked off in Malaysia and has joined him for numerous shows all over the globe.
