Ingrid Hadler (born Ingrid Thoresen; 12 February 1946) is a former orienteering competitor and cross-country skier from Norway. She is individual world champion in orienteering, as well as relay champion.
Hadler had her breakthrough in orienteering in 1965, when she became Nordic champion. [1]
She competed for Norway at the very first World Orienteering Championships in 1966 in Fiskars, where she placed sixth in the individual race, and won a bronze medal with the Norwegian relay team. [2]
She won an individual silver medal at the 1968 World Orienteering Championships in Linköping, where she also won the gold medal in the relay, along with Astrid Rødmyr and Astrid Hansen. [3] She won the 1970 Individual World Orienteering Championships in Eisenach, as well as winning a bronze medal in the relay. [4] [5] At the 1972 World Orienteering Championships she placed fifth in the individual contest, and seventh in the relay. [6] She won the silver medal in the relay at the 1974 World Orienteering Championships with the Norwegian team. [7]
She is co-author of the book På tvers av stiene: Med giftering, kort og kompass (1970) with her husband Åge Hadler. [8] [9]
Hadler was born in Trondheim as Ingrid Thoresen on 12 February 1946, [1] a daughter of Odd Thoresen and Solveig Henriksen. She married Åge Hadler in 1968. [10]
She is aunt of orienteering world champion Petter Thoresen. [1]
Petter Thoresen is a Norwegian orienteering competitor, winner of the 1989 Individual World Orienteering Championships, the Short distance in 1993, and the Classic distance in 1997. He also has a bronze medal on the Classic distance from 1993.

In ski orienteering she won four individual gold medals at the World Ski Orienteering Championships, and once in the relay. She was awarded Egebergs Ærespris in 1988.
Jan Fjærestad is a retired Norwegian orienteering competitor and athlete. His achievements in orienteering include an individual silver medal at the 1974 World Orienteering Championships and a world championship title in the relay in 1978. He won three national titles in marathon.
Brit Volden is a Norwegian orienteering competitor. Her achievements include two individual silver medals, and one gold and one silver medal in the relay at the World Orienteering Championships. She also won the unofficial World Cup in 1983 and placed second overall in 1984 and 1988.
Håvard Tveite was a Norwegian orienteering competitor. He was Relay World Champion from 1987 and 1989, and has a silver medal from 1991 and a bronze medal from 1997. He also obtained bronze in the individual course at the 1989 World Orienteering Championships.
Ola Skarholt, was a Norwegian orienteering competitor. He became Relay World Champion in 1970 as a member of the Norwegian winning team, which also consisted of Stig Berge, Per Fosser and Åge Hadler. Skarholt placed fourth in the individual contest.

Øystein Kvaal Østerbø is a Norwegian orienteering and ski-orienteering competitor. He finished overall third in the Orienteering World Cup in 2004, and won a silver medal in the relay in the 2004 World Ski Orienteering Championships. He has competed in all fifteen World Orienteering Championships since his debut in 2004 until 2018, obtaining his first two medals in Inverness in 2015; in the relay and mixed sprint relay, respectively. His best individual achievements are fourth places in the sprint in 2005 and 2010.
Ragnhild Kristensen is a Norwegian orienteering competitor. She competed at the very first World Orienteering Championships in Fiskars in 1966, where she placed 11th in the individual course, and won a bronze medal in the relay event, together with Astrid Hansen and Ingrid Thoresen.
