There are a small number of Iranians in Pakistan, the vast majority of whom live in Karachi and Lahore. Most are students, while others are political asylum seekers, of which the latter are mostly Iranian people.

In Karachi, there are several Iranian restaurants, known as "Iranian cafes", which are run by Iranian families. [2] [3] They speak Persian.

The National Awami Party (NAP), translated from Urdu to English as National People's Party, was the major left-wing political party in East and West Pakistan. It was founded in 1957 in Dhaka, erstwhile East Pakistan, by Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani and Yar Mohammad Khan, through the merger of various leftist and progressive political groups in Pakistan. Commonly known as the NAP, it was a major opposition party to Pakistani military regimes for much of the late 1950s and mid-1960s. In 1967 the party split into two factions.

The hangar for wide body and narrow-body aircraft with a supporting airframe overhaul shop was completed and commissioned in 1968.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is a Pakistani politician who served as the 37th Minister of Foreign Affairs, in office from 27 April 2022 to 10 August 2023. He became the chairman of Pakistan People's Party in 2007, following his mother's assassination. Bilawal belongs to the Bhutto family, a prominent political family of Pakistan and is the son of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and President Asif Ali Zardari, and the grandson of former President Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Bilawal had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from 13 August 2018 till 10 August 2023. He re-elected as Member National Assembly of Pakistan in 2024 Pakistani general election from newly formed constituency NA-194 Larkana-I taken oath February 2024.

Bengalis in Pakistan are ethnic Bengali people who had lived in either West Pakistan or East Pakistan prior to 1971 or live in present-day Pakistan. Most Pakistani Bengalis, are bilingual speaking both Urdu and Bengali and are mainly settled in Karachi. Bengalis that arrived in Pakistan before 1971 have now assimilated with the Urdu-speaking people in Karachi.

First ladies and gentlemen of Pakistan is an unofficial title traditionally given, often interchangeably, to the wife or husband of the president and prime minister of Pakistan. After former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in 2007, this office is vacant. Benazir is wife of the current president Asif Ali Zardari, but this office was announced by Zardari that his youngest daughter Aseefa Bhutto Zardari would carry out all duties of First Lady. Along with their spouse and children, the First Lady or Gentleman is a member of the First Family of Pakistan.

Nahid Iskander Mirza, born Nahid Amir Teymour, was an Iranian-Pakistani socialite who was the First Lady of Pakistan from 1956 to 1958 and a distant relative of another first lady of Pakistan, Nusrat Bhutto.
