Jimmy Kite (born February 18, 1976, in Effingham, Illinois) is a retired American race car driver. He debuted in the Indy Racing League IndyCar Series in 1997 and has competed in 34 IndyCar races, including five Indianapolis 500s. In 2005, he intended to compete in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and he made four starts before being called to replace the injured Paul Dana for Hemelgarn Racing in the IRL, where he completed the season after the Indy 500.[ citation needed ]
Largely out of racing since the end of the 2005 season, Kite founded JK Hobby World in November 2006. He failed in his attempt to qualify for the 2007 Indianapolis 500 in the PDM Racing #18 Panoz and failed to secure a ride for the 2008 race.[ citation needed ]

Arie Luijendijk, nicknamed "The Flying Dutchman," is a Dutch former auto racing driver, and winner of the 1990 and 1997 Indianapolis 500 races. He was inducted into the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame in 2009, and the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 2014.
Eliseo Salazar Valenzuela is a Chilean former racing driver. As of 2024, he is the only Chilean to have participated in a Formula One World Championship. He made his Formula One debut on 15 March 1981, and ultimately contested 37 races scoring a total of three championship points. After Formula One, Salazar has participated in numerous motorsport disciplines, including the Chilean national rally championship, Formula 3000, IndyCar, and the World Sportscar Championship.
Raul de Mesquita Boesel is a Brazilian former racing driver who raced for the March and Ligier Formula One teams and later raced in Champ Car and the Indy Racing League.
Jason Charles Leffler was an American professional open-wheel and stock car racing driver. Leffler began racing in the open-wheel ranks, competing in the 2000 Indianapolis 500 before moving to primarily NASCAR competition. He died from injuries sustained in a 410 sprint car race at Bridgeport Speedway in Bridgeport, New Jersey.

Lawrence Joseph Roberds Foyt is an American former NASCAR and IndyCar driver. He is the biological grandson and adopted son of A. J. Foyt, and a biological cousin of A. J. Foyt IV. His biological mother is Terry Lynn Foyt, daughter of A. J. Foyt, who divorced his biological father Larry Gene Roberds when he was an infant. He also drove in the 2004, 2005, and the 2006 Indianapolis 500 for A. J. Foyt Enterprises.
Scott Sharp is an American professional racing driver in the United SportsCar Championship. He is the son of six-time SCCA champion Bob Sharp. Sharp is best known for his years as a competitor in the Indy Racing League.
Anthony Lazzaro is a NASCAR and sports car racing driver. He is usually classified as a NASCAR road course ringer; however, he has made other starts in the Nextel Cup Series. He also has open-wheel oval racing experience.

David Jay "Davey" Hamilton is a race car driver who competed in the Indy Racing League IndyCar Series and Stadium Super Trucks. He has made 56 series starts and while never winning a race, finished second three times. He placed second in series points in the 1996–1997 season and again in 1998 season.
Mark Dismore is a former driver in the Indy Racing League and the 1990 Toyota Pacific champion as well as the winner of the 1993 24 Hours of Daytona with Dan Gurney's All American Racers in a Toyota GTP car with co-drivers Rocky Moran and P. J. Jones. He made 3 CART starts in 1991 but was badly injured in a practice crash for the Indianapolis 500, when his car veered sharply towards the entrance of pit road at the exit of Turn 4 and back-ended the fence, only to careen across the pit lane and smash virtually head on at sizeable speed against the edge of pit wall; this second impact tore off the front of the car leaving Mark's legs exposed. Amongst the injuries he suffered, the most severe was a broken neck. He was largely out of open wheel racing until the 1996 Indy 500 where he drove for Team Menard though he did try to qualify in the 1992 Indianapolis 500 for Concept Motorsports in an outdated Lola/Buick. In 1997 he drove a second car at the Indy 500 for Kelley Racing and would become a full-time fixture there until the 2001 season. He returned to Menard for a partial season in 2002. Dismore has a single IRL win coming in the fall 1999 Texas Motor Speedway race and also finished a career-best third in points that season. Among his 62 career IRL starts he won four poles. He also represented the IRL in the International Race of Champions in 2000 and 2001.
Niclas Lennart "Nic" Jönsson is a Swedish racing driver, currently driving in the FIA World Endurance Championship. He drove in the Indy Racing League in the 1999 and 2000 seasons with 4 career starts. His best career IRL finish was in 12th position in the 2000 Delphi Indy 200 held at Walt Disney World Speedway. He made one NASCAR Busch Series start at Montreal in August 2007, he started 8th, led five laps, and finished 12th in the #28 car for Jay Robinson Racing.
Ricky Sanders is an American former stock car racing driver. He raced part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series from 2000 to 2003.
Ron Hornaday III is a NASCAR driver and the son of NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday Jr. On May 12, 2001, he earned a career best finish of 11th at Darlington Raceway, his best out of 12 starts.

Randall Briggs is an American professional stock car racing driver. He most notably ran full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2003. He also competed part-time for one year in both the NASCAR Busch Series and the ARCA Re/Max Series.
Juan Pablo Montoya Roldán is a Colombian racing driver. Montoya is one of three drivers to win at least one race in Indy car racing, Formula One, and the NASCAR Cup Series. He is also one of only two active drivers who have won two legs of the Triple Crown of Motorsport in its more recent definition.
