Kanattukara is a ward and residential area in Thrissur, Kerala, India. It is home to the Sankarankulangara Bhagavathy Temple. There is an annual festival (Vela) celebrated in the temple. There is also a college, the Sree Kerala Varma College.
Alappuzha is one of the 14 districts in the state of Kerala in India.It is the smallest district in Kerala. It was formed as Alleppey District on 17 August 1957. The name of the district was officially changed to Alappuzha in 1990. Alleppey town was renamed Alappuzha in 2012, even though the anglicised name is still commonly used to describe the town as well as the district. The district is best known for its picturesque backwaters.

Neyyattinkara, a major industrial and commercial area, is a Municipal Town located to the south of capital city Trivandrum of Kerala State, and is the headquarters of Neyyattinkara Taluk. The town is situated on the banks of Neyyar River, one of the principal rivers in the district and hence its name. Neyyatinkara in Malayalam literally means the shore of the river Neyyar. Neyyattinkara is the second most densely populated municipality in the district after Varkala. The Public sector undertaking Kerala Automobiles Limited that manufactures electric autorickshaws is situated at Aralummoodu in Neyyattinkara. Located around 18 km (11 mi) south of Trivandrum, on the National Highway 66 to Kanyakumari, the town spreads over an area of 29.5 km2 on the banks of the Neyyar River. The name 'Neyyattinkara' in Malayalam regional language means shore (kara) of Neyyar River. This river flows from Agasthyarkoodam, the highest peak in southern end of the Western Ghats.
Nedumangad is a town and municipality in Thiruvananthapuram metropolitan area of Thiruvananthapuram district in the Indian state of Kerala, and is the headquarters of Nedumangad tehsil and Nedumangad Revenue Division (RDO). It is a suburb of the extended metropolitan region of Thiruvananthapuram city. It is located around 16 km to the north-east of Thiruvananthapuram city on the Thiruvananthapuram – Shenkottah. Mavelikara is a taluk and municipality in the Alappuzha district of the Indian state of Kerala. Located in the southern part of the district on the banks of the Achankovil River. The name Mavelikara is believed to be turned out from the words Maveli or Mahabali, the mythical king of Kerala, and Kara means land. This land is believed to be the place {Mattom mahadeva temple}where king Mahabali knelt before Vamana, offering his head for Vamana to keep his feet. The town boasts about a rich historical and cultural background. The Chettikulangara Devi Temple, known for the Kumbha Bharani festival is located near the municipality.The place is home to one of the 108 Shiva temples of Kerala created by Lord Parashurama, the Kandiyoor Mahadeva Temple. It was also a major centre of trade and commerce in ancient Kerala and the erstwhile capital of the rulers of Onattukara. As a result of the close association with the Travancore Royal Family, Mavelikkara gained modern facilities well ahead of other places in the state. It is one of the oldest municipalities of the state. Even before India attained independence, Mavelikara had a super express transport service to Trivandrum.
Aluva is a municipality and a suburb of the city of Kochi in Kerala, India.
