Nissequogue River State Park is a 521-acre (2.11 km2) state park located on the banks and bluffs of the Nissequogue River in Kings Park, New York. The park was opened in 2000, and established on the waterfront portion of the former Kings Park Psychiatric Center.

Mar George Alapatt was the fourth Bishop of Syro-Malabar Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur, from 1 May 1944 until 4 June 1970, when he retired. Alapatt was born at Karanchira in Thrissur district on 11 February 1900. He attended all the four sessions of the Second Vatican Council (1962–1965). He died in his sleep on 6 November 1973.
Truesdale Hospital is a historic former hospital building located at 1820 Highland Avenue in Fall River, Massachusetts. It was built in 1920 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It has since been converted into apartments, known as The Highlands.
