Kent County was one of the 26 counties of Western Australia that were designated in 1829. It was named after Princess Alexandrina Victoria of Kent, from 1827 second in line to the throne.
Victoria was Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland from 20 June 1837 until her death. On 1 May 1876, she adopted the additional title of Empress of India.
It is part of the cadastral divisions of Australia. The counties were used throughout the South western region of Western Australia.

Pensi-la is a mountain pass in the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, which is known as the Gateway to Zanskar. Pensi La is 4,400 m (14,436 ft) above sea level and connects the Suru Valley region to the Zanskar Valley region. The summit at this end of the Suru Valley, the only peak which can be seen, is 7,012 m (23,005 ft) high, while the mountain to the north is 6,873 m (22,549 ft). The pass is about 25 km from Rangdum Monastery.
The Waychinicup River is located in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The headwaters of the river are located near the town of Manypeaks along the South Coast Highway, with an elevation of approximately 100 metres (328 ft) above sea level and flows in a generally southerly direction through the Mount Manypeaks Range then through the Waychinicup National Park until it discharges into the Southern Ocean.

It approximately corresponds to the Jilbadji Land District which was gazetted in 1903 and forms the basis for land titles in the area.
