Juan Edgardo "Sonny" Manalang Angara is a Filipino lawyer and politician currently serving as the 39th secretary of education since 2024. He previously served as a senator from 2013 to 2024 and as the representative of Aurora's lone district from 2004 to 2013. He is also the chairman of Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, the governing body of basketball in the Philippines, since 2016. He is also a member of the Laban ng Demokratikong Pilipino party, where he currently serves as the chairman.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Danilo Fernandez</span> Filipino actor and politician

Danilo Ramon Subiaga Fernandez, more commonly known as Dan Fernandez, is a Filipino politician, actor, and optometrist who is currently serving as a representative of the Lone District of Santa Rosa, Laguna at the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 2022. He previously represented the 1st District of Laguna from 2007 to 2016 and again from 2019 to 2022; he also concurrently served as a Deputy Speaker from 2019 to 2020. Prior to his election in the Congress, he served as a board member of Laguna from 1998 to 2001, Vice Governor of Laguna from 2001 to 2004, and Mayor of Santa Rosa from 2016 to 2019. He also ran for governor in 2004 but lost to incumbent Governor Teresita Lazaro.
