Freddy Zemmour's from Pied-Noir one of the few French players who have decided to stay in Algeria first foreign to play with USM Alger immediately after Independence for 6 seasons in which he won one title in 1963. The signing of the player cost 215,000 euros. [239] [240] On July 23, 2024, USM Alger announced the recruitment of two Congolese players from TP Mazembe, Kévin Mondeko and Glody Likonza.
