The United States ambassador to Seychelles is the official representative of the government of the United States to the government of Seychelles. The ambassador is concurrently the ambassador to Mauritius, while resident in Port Louis, Mauritius.
Mauritius has strong and friendly relations with the West, with South Asian countries and with the countries of southern and eastern Africa. It is a member of the World Trade Organization, the Commonwealth of Nations, La Francophonie, the African Union, the Southern Africa Development Community, the Indian Ocean Commission, COMESA, and the recently formed Indian Ocean Rim Association.
Ambassadors of the United States are persons nominated by the president to serve as the United States' diplomatic representatives to foreign nations, international organizations, and as ambassadors-at-large. Under Article II, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution, their appointment must be confirmed by the United States Senate; while an ambassador may be appointed during a recess, they can serve only until the end of the next session of Congress, unless subsequently confirmed.

David Dale Reimer is an American diplomat and member of the Senior Foreign Service who had served Chargé d'affaires ad interim to Burundi. He had served as the United States ambassador to Sierra Leone from 2021 to 2023. He previously served concurrently as the United States ambassador to Mauritius and United States ambassador to Seychelles from 2018 to 2021. He is Chargé d'Affaires Mauritania since July 22, 2024.
