    Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Jakarta, abbreviated as Persija, is an Indonesian professional football club based in the Indonesian capital city of Jakarta. Persija Jakarta is one of the most successful football clubs in Indonesia with 2 Indonesian League titles and 9 Perserikatan titles. It has never been in a lower league since a nationwide competition started in 1930, fifteen years before Indonesia became an independent country. Persija is one of the founders of the Indonesian football association PSSI, along with six other clubs. Persija's rivalry with fellow PSSI founder Persib Bandung has gone on for decades, occasionally marred by violence.

    Persatuan Sepakbola Surabaya, commonly known as Persebaya Surabaya or simply Persebaya, is an Indonesian professional football club based in Surabaya, East Java. The club currently plays in the Liga 1, the top flight of Indonesian football. Persebaya Surabaya is regarded as one of the most iconic and successful teams in the country, winning numerous Indonesian League titles and tournaments.

    The 2007–08 Liga Indonesia Premier Division was the 13th season of the Liga Indonesia Premier Division as well as its final season as the top Indonesian professional league for association football clubs.

    Indonesian El Clásico, also known as the Indonesia Derby, is the name given to matches between the two biggest and most popular Indonesian football clubs Persib Bandung and Persija Jakarta. This derby is considered one of the biggest in Asia.

    The 2018 Liga 1, also known as Go-Jek Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons, was the 2th season of Liga 1 under its current name and the 9th season of the top-flight Indonesian professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 2008. The season started on 23 March 2018 and ended on 9 December 2018. Fixtures for the 2018 season were announced on 10 March 2018.

    The 2018–19 Piala Indonesia was the seventh edition of Piala Indonesia. It began with the first round on 8 May 2018, and concluded with the finals on 21 July and 6 August 2019. The winner would qualify for the play-off round of the 2020 AFC Cup.

    The 2018 season is Persib Bandung's 85th competitive season. Along with Liga 1, the club will compete in cup tournaments which yet to be announced.

    The 2018 season is Persija Jakarta's 85th competitive season since 1933 and the 24th in a row in the top flight since 1994. Along with the Liga 1, the club competed in the Piala Indonesia and the AFC Cup, with the latter being their first appearance since 2001. The season covers the period from 1 January to 31 December 2018.

    The 2019 Liga 1, also known as Shopee Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons, was the 3th season of Liga 1 under its current name and the 10th season of the top-flight Indonesian professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 2008. The season started on 15 May 2019 and finished on 22 December 2019. Fixtures for the 2019 season were announced on 7 May 2019.

    The 2019 season is Persija's 86th competitive season. They have not been relegated since the competition started in 1933. This season is Persija's 25th consecutive seasons in top-flight since professional competition formed on 1994. Along with Liga 1, the club will compete in 2018-19 Piala Indonesia, 2019–20 Piala Indonesia and 2019 AFC Champions League since 2001–02 season. The season covers the period from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019.

    The 2019 season is the second season for Persebaya Surabaya after being reaccepted as a member of PSSI, in the 2018 season, Persebaya was ranked 5th.

    The 2019 season is Persib Bandung's 86th competitive season. The club will compete in Liga 1 and had qualified for the round of 32 in 2018–19 Piala Indonesia following their wins in the first two rounds in 2018.

    The 2019 Liga 1 Putri season was the inaugural season of Liga 1 Putri, the top-flight Indonesian league for women's association football. The season started on 5 October 2019 and finished with two-legged finals on 22 and 28 December 2019.

    The 2021–22 Liga 1, also known as BRI Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons, was the 5th season of Liga 1 under its current name and the 12th season of the top-flight Indonesian professional league for association football clubs since its establishment in 2008. The season started on 27 August 2021. Bali United were the defending champions from the 2019 season after the 2020 season was abandoned and declared void after three matches due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

    The 2021–22 season is Persija Jakarta's 88th competitive season. This season is Persija's 27th consecutive season in the top flight since professional competition was formed in 1994. The season covers the period from 27 August 2021 to 30 April 2022.

    <span class="mw-page-title-main">Pasundan derby</span> Football rivalry in Indonesia

    Pasundan derby is a Indonesia football match between Persib Bandung against Persikabo 1973, the main club from West Java competing in Liga 1. The name "Pasundan" is taken from the historical and cultural similarities of the two teams.
