Rotterdam Ahoy is a multi-purpose complex with a convention centre and an indoor arena located in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Opened originally in 1950, the current complex consists of three main venues: a fairs and events hall, a congress and conference centre, and the main venue the Ahoy Arena. The latter opened on 15 January 1971 and is the largest multi-purpose venue in the Netherlands, with a capacity of 16,426 as of May 2019.

Landstede Hammers is a Dutch basketball club based in Zwolle. The club plays in the BNXT League, the Dutch top tier division. The club was founded as Cees Lubbers The Hammers in 1995. In 1999, the club’s name was changed into Landstede Hammers. In 2001, the club received its current name Landstede Basketbal as the team became part of the same-named educational institution in Zwolle. The home games of the club are played in the Landstede Sportcentrum.

The Dutch Basketball Supercup, also known as the DBL Supercup, is the super cup competition of professional basketball in the Netherlands. The match is played by the champions of the Dutch Basketball League and the winner of the NBB Cup. It is a super cup competition. The first Supercup game was held in 2011.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Landstede Sportcentrum</span> Indoor sports complex in Zwolle, Netherlands

The Landstede Sportcentrum is an indoor sports complex located in Zwolle, Netherlands, which is used as a sports arena and was opened in 2010. It is the home of basketball team Landstede Hammers. The "centre court", which is used by both the club has a capacity of 1,200 people.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Topsportcentrum (Almere)</span>

The Topsportcentrum is an indoor sports arena, located in Almere, Netherlands. Designed by architectural studio ZJA, it opened on the 7th of October in 2007. Its operator is the city of Almere and its main hall has a capacity of 3,000 people. The sports it is used most for are volleyball and basketball, with VC Allvo and Almere Pioneers use the venue as their home arena.

ZZ Leiden Basketball, also known as Zorg en Zekerheid Leiden, is a professional basketball club based in Leiden, Netherlands. The club plays in the BNXT League, the domestic first tier league. Their home games are played at Sportcomplex 1574.

Amsterdam Basketball was a Dutch professional basketball club from the city of Amsterdam, established in 1995 and dissolved in 2011. The club won the Dutch championship seven times and the Dutch Cup five times.

The 2015–16 Dutch Basketball League season was the 56th season of the Dutch Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in the Netherlands. The seasons started on October 6, 2015 and ended May 27, 2016. The defending champion was SPM Shoeters Den Bosch. Donar won its fifth national title, after beating Landstede 1–4 in the Final.

Mike Gerardus T. Schilder is a Dutch professional basketball player for Yoast United of the BNXT League. Formerly, he played for Den Bosch of the Dutch Basketball League (DBL).

Adrie Poldervaart is a Dutch professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of Eerste Divisie club De Graafschap.

The 2019 Dutch Basketball Supercup was the 8th edition of the Dutch Basketball Supercup. The game was played in the Landstede Sportcentrum in Zwolle for the first time.

Yoast United is a Dutch basketball club based in Bemmel, Gelderland. Established in 2020, the team plays in the BNXT League, the highest level of basketball in the Netherlands. Home games are played at De Kooi, which has a capacity of 650 people.

Lindsay van Zundert is a Dutch figure skater. She is the 2021 Celje Open champion, the 2020 NRW Trophy champion, and a three-time Dutch national champion.

The 2020–21 DBL Cup was the 53rd edition of the Netherlands' national basketball cup tournament. This season the format was changed due to the compressed playing schedule caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Only teams from the Dutch Basketball League participated this year and all games are to be played in one week.

The 2021 Women's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup was scheduled to be the 32nd edition of the Women's EuroHockey Indoor Club Cup, Europe's premier women's club indoor hockey tournament organized by the European Hockey Federation. It was scheduled to be held at the Topsportcentrum in Almere, Netherlands from 11 to 13 February 2022. On 17 January 2022 it was announced the tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic for the second year in a row.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Maashorst</span> Municipality in North Brabant, Netherlands

Maashorst is a municipality in the south of the Netherlands, formed from the merger of Landerd and Uden. The municipality came into existence on 1 January 2022. The name Maashorst refers to the nature reserve of the same name, which lies between the various village centres. The eastern part belongs to the region of De Peel.

The 2022–23 Basketball Cup, also known as the Dutch Basketball Cup, was the 55th season of the Netherlands' national basketball cup tournament. The preliminary rounds began on 3 September 2022, while the first round began on 22 October 2022. The season ended with the final on 12 March 2023 in the Landstede Sportcentrum.
