The first Test century at the ground was scored by Mohammad Azharuddin. [3] He scored 110 against Pakistan. The record for the highest Test century at the ground belongs to Ravi Shastri who made 125 in the maiden Test match at this venue. [3]

Geoff Marsh became the first ODI centurion at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium when he made 104 against India in 1986. [4] The record for the highest ODI century at the ground belongs to MS Dhoni who made an unbeaten 183 in 2005 against Sri Lanka. [4]

The Barabati Stadium is an Indian sports stadium used mostly for cricket and association football, and also sometimes for concerts and field hockey, located in Cuttack, Odisha. Sawai Mansingh Stadium Cricket stadium

The Sawai Mansingh Stadium is a cricket stadium in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. It was named after Sawai Man Singh II, the erstwhile ruler of the princely state of Jaipur. It is situated at one corner of the PKMB. The stadium seats 30,000. As of July 2013, the stadium and grounds could be toured using Google Street View. As of 19 Aug 2017 it has hosted 1 Test and 19 ODIs.

2006 ICC Champions Trophy

The 2006 ICC Champions Trophy was a One Day International cricket tournament held in India from 7 October to 5 November 2006. It was the fifth edition of the ICC Champions Trophy. The tournament venue was not confirmed until mid-2005 when the Indian government agreed that tournament revenues would be free from tax. Australia won the tournament, their first Champions Trophy victory. They were the only team to only get one loss in the tournament, as all other teams lost at least two matches. West Indies, their final opponents, beat Australia in the group stage, but were bowled out for 138 in the final and lost by eight wickets on the Duckworth–Lewis method. West Indies opening batsman Chris Gayle was named Player of the Tournament.
