Marvan Atapattu is a former international cricketer and coach who represented and captained the Sri Lanka cricket team (2003-2006). Marvan Samson Atapattu was born on 22nd November 1970 in Kalutara, Sri Lanka. [1] He has former coach. He was the previously head coach of Sri Lanka cricket team. [2] In his career spanning over seventeen years he made 27 centuries. [3] He widely regarded as one of the greatest opening batsmen in the Sri Lankan. He was named the Wisden Top 10 best opening partnership ever. [4] He is the ninth highest run score for Sri Lankan in Test cricket. He started his career First class cricket at Ananda College. [5] In the 2003 World Cup his remarkably performing. He scored two centuries against Zimbabwe and South Africa He scored his last ODI century against Pakistan. His Test and ODI batting average spanning 38.90. [6]

Chamari Atapattu Sri Lankan cricketer

Atapattu Mudiyanselage Chamari Jayangani is a Sri Lankan cricketer and the current captain of the women's Twenty20 International team of Sri Lanka. She had a short stint as the captain of the Sri Lanka women's team, and was succeeded by the previous captain Shashikala Siriwardene. Chamari was the tenth captain for Sri Lanka women's national cricket team, winning only one ODI, with 13 losses. In November 2017, she was named the Women's Cricketer of the Year for the 2016–17 season at Sri Lanka Cricket's annual awards. She is the first Sri Lankan woman to play in franchise cricket.
