From the 2020s, L.A.B.'s "In the Air" was the top song of 2020; The Glass Animals track "Heat Waves" was the top song of 2021 (although only peaking at number two); and Elton John and Dua Lipa's "Cold Heart (Pnau remix)" was the top song of 2022.

Marshmello's debut studio album Joytime was released through his Joytime Collective record label on January 8, 2016. Despite failing to debut on the Billboard 200, the album peaked on three Billboard charts: Dance/Electronic Albums, Top Heatseekers and Independent Albums, at number five, fourteen and forty-one, respectively.
American singer and songwriter Camila Cabello has released three studio albums, one soundtrack album, one extended play (EP), 29 singles, 5 promotional singles, and 34 music videos. According to RIAA, Cabello has sold 38.5 million albums and singles in the United States. Her 2017 smash hit "Havana" is certified diamond in the US, making her the first hispanic female artist to do so. Billboard listed Cabello as the 87th Top Artists of the 2010s, as well as the 33rd Top Social 50 of the Decade. Her debut album Camila placed at No. 142 on Billboard 200 Decade-End Chart, while "Havana" was placed at No. 59 on Billboard Hot 100 Decade-End chart respectively.

In both 2019 and 2020, she consecutively won Single of the Year, Best Solo Artist and Best Pop Artist at the New Zealand Music Awards. Benee initially gained local prominence with her singles "Glitter" and "Soaked", before her 2019 single "Supalonely" saw international popularity following its success on the video-sharing platforms TikTok and YouTube. Benee subsequently released her debut album, Hey U X, in November 2020.

On the US Billboard Hot 100, as of November 2023, Swift is the female musician with the most charted songs (231), most top-40 songs (137), most top-20 songs (85), most top-10 songs (49), most top-10 debuts (38), most top-five songs (31), and second most number-one debuts (6).
Conan Lee Gray is an American singer-songwriter and former YouTuber. Born in Lemon Grove, California, and raised in Georgetown, Texas, he began uploading vlogs, covers, and original songs to YouTube as a teenager. In 2018, Gray signed a record deal with Republic Records, which released his debut EP, Sunset Season (2018).
Joel Corry is an English DJ, producer and television personality. He came to prominence in 2019 with the release of his single "Sorry", featuring vocals from Hayley May, which reached number six in the UK Singles Chart. In 2020, Corry released the singles "Lonely" and "Head & Heart". The latter, which features MNEK on vocals, spent six weeks at number one in the UK Top Singles Chart and also became Corry's first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100. Corry stated that he was influenced by Jive Bunny growing up, and that it played a "huge role in his development as a DJ and a producer".
