This is a list of the top-selling singles in New Zealand for 2015 from the Official New Zealand Music Chart's end-of-year chart, compiled by Recorded Music NZ. [1] English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, English soul singer Sam Smith, Canadian R&B singer The Weeknd and New Zealand band Six60 each had three songs in the chart. The chart was topped by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars' song "Uptown Funk". As well as the three songs by Six60, the chart also had songs by New Zealand artists Avalanche City and Savage. [2]

American girl group Fifth Harmony has released three studio albums, six extended plays, 12 singles,, 11 promotional singles and 17 music videos. After finishing third on the second season of The X Factor US the group was signed to Epic Records though Syco Music. Less than a year later, Fifth Harmony released their debut single from their debut extended play, "Miss Movin' On". The single charted on the Mainstream Top 40 and New Zealand, peaking at 27 in both countries. It was certified Gold in the United States for selling combined sales and track-equivalent streams units of 500,000. The group's extended play, Better Together peaked at number six on the Billboard 200 and number 18 in New Zealand, charting in both countries similar to the group's lead single. As part of the promotion for Better Together, four other versions were released of the extended play, including an acoustic release, a Spanish-language acoustic and a standard Spanish-language translated version as well as a remix edition. The four former EPs were released in a 4-CD bundle titled Better Together: The Deluxe Edition, directly from Fifth Harmony's official store; it also included a download code for the latter remix EP, as it was not available physically. In Walmart exclusively, the Juntos and Juntos Acoustic EPs were bundled together, while at Target, "One Wish" was included as a bonus track on the original version; meanwhile, the iTunes edition of the original EP included "Me & My Girls", which the group performed in 2013 as guests on the third season of The X Factor, and served as a promotional single for the EP.

This is a list of the top-selling singles in New Zealand for 2014 from the Official New Zealand Music Chart's end-of-year chart, compiled by Recorded Music NZ. English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran had the most songs in the top 50, with four. The chart also includes three songs by New Zealand artists: "Freaks" by Australian DJ Timmy Trumpet and New Zealand rapper Savage, and "Holding You" by Ginny Blackmore and Stan Walker, and "Bridges" by Broods. Four songs also featured in the New Zealand top 50 singles of 2013: Katy Perry's songs "Roar" and "Dark Horse", "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran, "The Monster" by Eminem and "Timber" by Pitbull. The 2014 chart was the first to include online streaming as well as sales data.

"See You Again" is a song by American rapper Wiz Khalifa featuring American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth. It was commissioned for the soundtrack of the 2015 film Furious 7 as a tribute to Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker, who died in a single-vehicle crash on November 30, 2013. The song was released on March 10, 2015, as the soundtrack's lead single in the United States. It was later included as a bonus track on the international release of Puth's debut album, Nine Track Mind.

Puth released two extended plays, The Otto Tunes (2010) and Ego (2013), as an independent artist. In 2015 he signed with Atlantic Records and released his debut single "Marvin Gaye", which features guest vocals from Meghan Trainor. The single has been certified 2× Platinum in Australia, topped the charts in New Zealand, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Puth wrote, co-produced, and was featured on a song by Wiz Khalifa, "See You Again", included in the Furious 7 soundtrack. On May 1, 2015, Puth released an EP, Some Type of Love. The pre-order for Puth's debut studio album Nine Track Mind started on August 20, 2015, along with the second single "One Call Away". The album was officially released on January 29, 2016. Puth released his second studio album Voicenotes on May 11, 2018, supported by the singles "Attention", "How Long", "Done for Me", "Change", and "The Way I Am". Six60 is the second studio album released by New Zealand rock band Six60. It was released on 27 February 2015 through New Zealand label Massive Entertainment. It debuted at number one on the New Zealand Albums Chart and was certified Gold in its first week. All of the songs on the album made an appearance on the New Zealand Artists Singles Chart in its first week of release due to strong overall sales. The album was later released in a standard edition or a deluxe edition with additional tracks.

Dead Favours is an alternative rock group from Auckland, New Zealand. Formed in 2016 by drummer Charlie Smith and vocalist Jared Wrennall, previously the drummer for Grammy Award-nominated punk band Steriogram. The band consists of Alex Ferrier, Jared Wrennall (vocals/guitar), Kyle Wetton (guitar) and Charlie Smith (drums).

Drax Project are a New Zealand pop and R&B band that formed in Te Aro, Wellington in 2014. Recording a mix of jazz, R&B and pop music, the band came to prominence in 2017 with the single "Woke Up Late", which was certified triple platinum by RIANZ while the 2019 version featuring Hailee Steinfeld was certified triple platinum in Australia.

<i>Drax Project</i> (album) 2019 album by Drax Project

Drax Project is the debut studio album by New Zealand band Drax Project, released in September 2019. The album follows the release of their single "Woke Up Late" (2017), which was re-released in early 2019 as a new version featuring Hailee Steinfeld. The band's collaboration with Six60, "Catching Feelings", was released as a single just prior to the album, and became a hit in Australia and New Zealand.

<i>Six60</i> (EP) 2017 extended play by Six60

Six60 is the third extended play by New Zealand band Six60. The release was a wide-scale commercial success in New Zealand, debuting at number two on the New Zealand albums chart, and being one of the top-performing releases in New Zealand between 2017 and 2021.

"Someone to Be Around" is a song by New Zealand band Six60. Originally released on their limited-release extended play Six60 in 2008, the song was performed live on the group's 2013 iTunes Session EP. The song was added to the 10th anniversary of their debut album Six60 in 2021, and became the most played song of New Zealand origin on New Zealand airwaves in 2022.
