Live in Berlin: A Film by Anton Corbijn is a live video album by English electronic music band Depeche Mode, featuring a live concert directed and filmed by Anton Corbijn. It was released on 14 November 2014 by Mute Records and Columbia Records. [2] It was filmed on location at the O2 World in Berlin on 25 and 27 November 2013 during the band's Delta Machine Tour. [3]

Contents

The deluxe edition in five discs includes the Live in Berlin DVD, the Live in Berlin Soundtrack concert audio on two CDs, second DVD Alive in Berlin, and the 2013 album Delta Machine 5.1 mix on Blu-ray. The standard edition consists of the concert DVD and the soundtrack. The second DVD featuring the full live show combined with behind-the-scenes footage, interviews with the band and their fans, and a two-song acoustic session filmed at Salon Bel Ami, the oldest existing brothel in Berlin, is also available as Depeche Mode: Alive in Berlin (HD) on iTunes from 19 December 2014. [4] [5] The soundtrack was also released as a double CD package. [3]

Before its release, the DVD was launched with one-off theatrical screenings in selected cities around the world, including over 40 cinemas in Germany. [1] [6]

"Freelove" is a song by English electronic group Depeche Mode. It was released on 5 November 2001 as the third single from their album, Exciter (2001). "Freelove" reached No. 19 on the UK Singles Chart. The single version, which was produced by Flood, is different than the album version, with a shorter running time and an additional drum track. The B-side is an instrumental called "Zenstation". There is also a DVD release of "Freelove", a first for Depeche Mode. The band's music has been released on several labels, including Some Bizzare, Mute Records, Sire Records, Reprise Records, and Columbia Records. Formed in Basildon, Essex, England in 1980, the group's original line-up was Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher and Vince Clarke. Vince Clarke left the band after the release of their 1981 debut album Speak & Spell and was replaced by Alan Wilder, who was a band member from 1982 to 1995. Following Wilder's departure, Gahan, Gore, and Fletcher continued as a trio until Fletcher's death in 2022.

Rammstein: Paris is the fourth concert film and third live album by German Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein. It was released on 19 May 2017. For the film, the concerts on 6 and 7 March 2012 were filmed entirely. The scenes were cut with scenes recorded during rehearsals for the tour. Every show was filmed with 30 cameras in front of 17,000 people each night in Paris. The film was to be shown on 24, 26 and 30 November 2016, but the information leaked and several cinemas put up adverts too early, thus the release was postponed to 23, 24 and 29 March 2017.

Spirits in the Forest – A Depeche Mode Film is a live concert film, documentary, and album by the English electronic music band Depeche Mode. Directed by award-winning filmmaker and long-time artistic collaborator Anton Corbijn. The film chronicles the final concert of the band's Global Spirit Tour at the Waldbühne in Berlin, Germany, as well as the stories of six fans of the band. The film was released to cinemas worldwide on 21 November 2019. A DVD & Blu-ray featuring the full concert titled LiVE SPiRiTS was released on 26 June 2020.
