Depeche Mode are an English electronic music band formed in Basildon, Essex in 1980. Originally formed by the lineup of Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andy Fletcher and Vince Clarke, the band currently consists of Gahan and Gore.
David Gahan is an English singer, best known as the lead singer of electronic band Depeche Mode since their formation in 1980. Noted for his commanding stage presence and unique baritone voice, Q magazine ranked him at No. 73 on its list of the "100 Greatest Singers" and No. 27 on its list of the "100 Greatest Frontmen". As part of Depeche Mode, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.
Martin Lee Gore is an English musician and songwriter. He is one of the founding members of the electronic rock band Depeche Mode and is the band's main songwriter. He is the band's guitarist and keyboardist, and occasionally provides lead vocals. Gore possesses a tenor singing voice which contrasts with lead vocalist Dave Gahan's dramatic baritone. He is also known for his flamboyant and (sometimes) androgynous stage persona. Gore has also released several solo albums and collaborated with former Depeche Mode member Vince Clarke as part of VCMG.
"Everything Counts" is a song by the English electronic music band Depeche Mode from their third studio album, Construction Time Again (1983). One Night in Paris – The Exciter Tour 2001 – A Live DVD by Anton Corbijn is a video release by Depeche Mode, featuring an entire concert from their 2001 Exciter Tour, shot at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy on 9 and 10 October 2001. Although the cover only lists the second date, material from the first was used, as "It Doesn't Matter Two" was only played on the 9th. That song was replaced by "Sister of Night" the next day. Many fans were disappointed to see the popular song "Clean" not included, "Condemnation" taking its place in the film. It was directed and filmed by Anton Corbijn, and released on 27 May 2002.
The Exotic Tour/Summer Tour '94 was a 1994 concert tour by English electronic group Depeche Mode in support of the act's eighth studio album, Songs of Faith and Devotion, which was released in March 1993. The tour visited territories which the band had never performed in or had not toured in for some time, reaching Africa, Asia, Australia, and South America. The tour commenced in Johannesburg, South Africa in early February. As of 2016, this was the last tour the group visited Australia, Southeast Asia or South Africa. In May 1994, the group visited North America on the "Summer Tour, '94". This was the second leg of North American dates promoting Songs of Faith and Devotion and took place mostly in outdoor venues and amphitheatres.

Unlike the other two singles from the album, there are no plans to release a 7" vinyl edition at this time, and there will not be a limited edition CD ("LCD") either. It was not released in the US, nor was it released anywhere else. They were released as the third single from the group's 2009 studio album Sounds of the Universe, their 48th UK single overall, and their third double A-side single, following "Blasphemous Rumours / Somebody" and "John the Revelator / Lilian".
