Louis Rossi (born 23 June 1989 in Le Mans) is a French former Grand Prix motorcycle racer, best known for winning the 2012 French Grand Prix in the Moto3 class. [1] He has also previously competed in the French 125GP Championship (where he finished runner-up in 2007), the Spanish 125GP Championship, and the Endurance FIM World Championship.

Grand Prix motorcycle racing is the highest class of motorcycle road racing events held on road circuits sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). Independent motorcycle racing events have been held since the start of the twentieth century and large national events were often given the title Grand Prix. The foundation of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme as the international governing body for motorcycle sport in 1949 provided the opportunity to coordinate rules and regulations in order that selected events could count towards official World Championships. It is the oldest established motorsport world championship.

The 2012 French motorcycle Grand Prix was the fourth round of the 2012 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on the weekend of 18–20 May 2012 at the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans, France. In a press conference on the Thursday before the race, Casey Stoner announced his retirement from the sport at the end of the season. He went on to finish third in the MotoGP race, handing the championship lead to Jorge Lorenzo, the race winner. Valentino Rossi took second place for his first podium since the previous year's race. Thomas Lüthi and Louis Rossi won the Moto2 and Moto3 races respectively. This was the 800th race to contribute to the Grand Prix motorcycle racing championship.

He has previously competed in the IDM Superbike Championship, where he was runner-up in 2016 and 2017, the CEV Moto2 Championship, finishing runner-up in 2014 and the IDM 125GP Championship.

Amirul Hafiq Azmi is a Malaysian motorcycle racer. Hafiq competed in two seasons of the New Zealand 125GP championship in 2011 and 2012, winning the 2012 New Zealand 125GP Grand Prix title and coming 3rd overall in the NZ championship after only completing half of the season. He has competed in the Moto3 World Championship, the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup in 2011 and 2012 and the CEV Moto3 series.
