The Love Amplified Concert was a concert held in Singapore at Fort Canning Park on 29 November 2008 to commemorate World AIDS Day 2008. It was titled LOVE Amplified (Love Amp in short), and was organised by the Health Promotion Board bringing together Singapore talents including the likes of Stefanie Sun, Hady Mirza, Hossan Leong and Dim Sum Dollies.

World AIDS Day world day

World AIDS Day, designated on 1 December every year since 1988, is an international day dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection and mourning those who have died of the disease. The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert for AIDS Awareness was a benefit concert held on Easter Monday, 20 April 1992 at Wembley Stadium in London, England for an audience of 72,000. The concert was produced for television by Ray Burdis, directed by David Mallet and broadcast live on television and radio to 76 countries around the world, with an audience of up to one billion.
