The music video for "Free Me", directed by Blake Martin, was released alongside the song on 9 June 2017. [7] Zoe Saldana plays an expectant mother who goes for a check-up only to find out that she is HIV-positive. In a voiceover provided by Julianne Moore, we find out that Saldana could pass the disease on to her unborn child if she goes untreated. [8] The five-minute clip follows the mum-to-be's journey from learning of her health status to building her emotional strength–as illustrated by a heartfelt dance sequence choreographed by Ryan Heffington–and giving birth to a healthy baby. It was re-released 10 January 2006 in the US, after the track "Breathe Me" became popular on alternative radio, following its feature as the closing song in the series finale of the HBO drama Six Feet Under. Reel Moments is an annual film series project by the magazine Glamour. The program entails a competition where its readers submit short stories with three being selected to be made into short films. The short stories submitted are all personal non-fiction essays. Actors, directors, and crew all donate their time to the project. Sponsors fund scripting, production, and screening costs.
