Marioara Trașcă (since the 1989 rowing season Curelea, born 29 October 1962) is a retired Romanian rower. Competing in coxed fours and eights she won three medals at the 1984 and 1988 Olympics and three world titles in 1986–1987. [2] [1]
Mărioara Popescu is a retired Romanian rower. She competed at the 1984, 1988 and 1996 Olympics and won gold medals in 1984 and 1996. At the world championships she won seven medals between 1983 and 2000, including two gold medals in the eights in 1990 and 1999.
Adriana Bazon-Chelariu is a retired Romanian rower. She competed at the 1984, 1988 and 1992 Olympics and five world championships between 1985 and 1991 and won 10 medals, including three world championship gold medals and three Olympic silver medals. At the 1987 World Rowing Championships, she still competed under her maiden name and at the 1988 Olympics, she started under her married name.
Iulică Ruican is a retired Romanian rower. He competed in coxed fours and eights at the 1992 and 1996 Olympics and won a gold and a silver medal in 1992. At the 1996 Olympics he served as a flag bearer for Romania at the opening ceremony. At the world championships he won seven medals between 1993 and 1998, including three gold medals.
