Mosel is an unincorporated community in the town of Mosel, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. [1]
A post office called Mosel was established in 1869, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1903. [2] The community was named after the Moselle river (German: Mosel) in Europe. [3] The township was originally spelled Moselle, and the same may be true of the community.

Sheboygan County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is named after the Sheboygan River. As of the 2020 census, the population was 118,034. Its county seat is Sheboygan. The county was created in 1836 and organized in 1846. At the time, it was located in the Wisconsin Territory.
Ozaukee County is a county in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2010 census, the population was 86,395. Its county seat is Port Washington, making it one of three Wisconsin counties on Lake Michigan not to have a county seat with the same name.
