The Nanjing World Challenge is a track and field meet at Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre in Nanjing, China. The inaugural edition was held in 2019 as part of the IAAF World Challenge. [1]

The World Athletics U20 Championships is a biennial world championships for the sport of athletics organised by the World Athletics, contested by athletes in the under-20 athletics age category (19 years old or younger on 31 December in the year of the competition.

The CARIFTA Games is an annual athletics competition founded by the Caribbean Free Trade Association (CARIFTA). The games were first held in 1972 and consist of track and field events including sprint races, hurdles, middle distance track events, jumping and throwing events, and relays. The Games has two age categories: under-17 and under-20. Only countries associated with CARIFTA may compete in the competition.

The British Grand Prix, formerly known as the Birmingham Grand Prix or the Aviva Birmingham Grand Prix, is an annual athletics meeting. Since 2010 it has been a part of the Diamond League series of track and field meets.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Golden Grand Prix</span> Athletics tournament held in Kawasaki, Japan

The Seiko Golden Grand Prix, formerly known as the Golden Grand Prix Kawasaki, is a track and field competition at the International Stadium Yokohama, Japan as part of the World Athletics Continental Tour. It was first organized in 2011 at the Todoroki Athletics Stadium in Kawasaki and sponsored by Seiko. It replaced the Osaka Grand Prix as the major athletics meet in Japan.

The South American U18 Championships in Athletics is a biennial athletics event organized by "Confederación Sudamericana de Atletismo" (CONSUDATLE), the South American area association of the International Amateur Athletic Federation (IAAF). Starting in 1973, the competition was open for athletes under-17 in the early years. Since 2000 the international age group definition has applied. Up until the 2016 edition the competition was known as the South American Youth Championships in Athletics. The tournament is open for athletes from CONSUDATLE member federations. Athletes from IAAF members of other geographical areas may be invited. However, they are not considered in the classification.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">IAAF World Challenge Beijing</span>

IAAF World Challenge Beijing is an annual track and field competition held in Beijing, China, in May. First held in 2013, it takes place at the Beijing National Stadium, the venue for the Athletics at the 2008 Summer Olympics. It is part of the IAAF World Challenge circuit, the second tier of international track and field competitions after the IAAF Diamond League.

The 2009 European Team Championships Super League was the Super League of the 1st edition of the European Team Championships, the 2009 European Team Championships, which took place on 20 and 21 June 2009 in Leiria, Portugal. A couple of rules were introduced applying specifically to this competition, some of which were discarded or altered for the subsequent editions. See the main article for more details.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Athletics at the Summer Youth Olympics</span>

Athletics has featured as a sport at the Youth Olympic Summer Games since its first edition in 2010. The Youth Olympic Games are multi-sport event and the games are held every four years just like the Olympic Games. Athletes under the age of 18 can participate in the Games. This age group corresponds with the youth category of athletics competition.

The Mixed 8x100m relay competition at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games was held on 26 August 2014 in Nanjing Olympic Sports Center. The competitors were divided in 67 teams composed of mixed athletes from different NOCs, gender and disciplines aiming to be balanced in strength. In the preparation phase there are ten athletes in competition phases there are 8 athletes.
