The National Basketball League (NBL) [1] is the first-tier basketball league in Singapore. It was established in 2011 and founded by the Basketball Association of Singapore (BAS).

The National Basketball Developmental League (NBL) is the developmental basketball league in Singapore. It is also the largest league in Singapore, with 43 teams taking part. The league is aimed at giving youths and young adults more exposure, with intentions of nurturing the future generation on basketballers in Singapore. Clubs and Teams from all over Singapore gather at the Singapore Basketball Centre to play in this league. The league consists 7 groups, 3 with 6 teams and 4 with 5 teams, and plays a round robin system to decide the teams headed for the Top 16 Round.
