On 5 August 2021, a day before the official release of the series, Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan hosted a live music event for the series' promotions titled Navarasa: The Symphony of Emotions. [28] Based on the Indian concepts of Navarasas, it was hosted by Dhivyadharshini and featured musical performances from artists all over the world, each artist represent different emotions through the numbers performed: anger, compassion, courage, disgust, fear, laughter, love, peace and wonder, and featured a live interaction between the artists, crew members and technicians working on the series. [29] A fundraiser event, the artists performed live film music on stage, to support the technicains working on the Tamil music industry, who were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. [30] The ensemble artists performed in the songs were flautist Naveen Kumar, Viveick Rajagopalan, Abhishek Kumar, K.C. Loy, Piyush Rajani and The Fine Tuners, Mahesh Raghvan, Nandini Shankar, Shashaa Tirupati, Anantha Krishnan, Ricky Kej, Kunal Naik and A. R. Rahman's K. M. M. C. Choir. [30] [29]

Navarasa is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language anthology streaming television series created by Mani Ratnam, who also collaborated with Jayendra Panchapakesan to produce it through their newly formed banner Justickets. The series features nine stand-alone episodes based on the Indian concept of the Navarasas, filmed by Priyadarshan, Karthik Subbaraj, Vasanth, Arvind Swami, Bejoy Nambiar, Karthick Naren, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sarjun KM and Rathindran R. Prasad. Jagame Thandhiram is the eleven-song soundtrack album composed by Santhosh Narayanan for the 2021 Tamil film of the same name, starring Dhanush and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Continuing his association with Subbaraj after Anirudh Ravichander being roped in for Petta, the film also marks Santhosh's third collaboration with Dhanush after Kodi, Vada Chennai and Karnan. Meyaadha Maan is the soundtrack album jointly composed by Santhosh Narayanan and Pradeep Kumar for the 2017 film of the same name directed by Rathna Kumar. The album had seven tracks written by Vivek, Pradeep Kumar, Rathna Kumar and Mirchi Vijay. Prior to the album release, three songs – "Thangachi Song", "Enna Naan Seiven" and "Address Song" released as singles on 7, 25 August and 13 September, and the full album was unveiled on 27 September 2017, to positive reviews from critics and audience. Cuckoo is the musical album composed by Santhosh Narayanan to the 2014 Tamil film Cuckoo, directed by journalist-turned-filmmaker Raju Murugan in his directorial debut. The film starred Attakathi Dinesh and debutant Malavika Nair in leading roles, and was jointly produced by the companies Fox Star Studios and The Next Big Film Venture. Ponniyin Selvan: I is the soundtrack album for 2022 Indian Tamil-language epic period drama film of the same name directed by Mani Ratnam which features an ensemble cast of Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, R. Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Rahman and R. Parthiban. The film’s soundtrack and score were composed by Ratnam's norm composer A. R. Rahman, marking the duo's 30th year collaborating.

<i>Agni Natchathiram</i> (soundtrack) 1988 soundtrack album by Ilaiyaraaja

Agni Natchathiram is the soundtrack to the 1988 Tamil-language film of the same name directed by Mani Ratnam and produced by G. Venkateswaran, starring Prabhu, Karthik, Amala and Nirosha. The film associated Ratnam's norm collaborators—composer Ilaiyaraaja and lyricist Vaali—whose soundtrack album featured six tracks. It was released through the Echo label on a double LP record, with three on each sides. The soundtrack consisted of electronic and synth-pop music, where most of the Carnatic melodies in the songs were fused with modern instrumentation. For the Telugu dubbed version titled Gharsana, all the lyrics are written by Rajasri.
