Belitung is an island on the east coast of Sumatra, Indonesia in the Java Sea. It covers 4,859 km2 (1,876.1 sq mi), and had a population of 309,097 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 320,500. Administratively, it forms two regencies within the province of Bangka-Belitung Islands. The island is known for its pepper and for its tin. It was in the possession of the United Kingdom from 1812 until Britain ceded control of the island to the Netherlands in the Anglo-Dutch Treaty of 1824. Its main town is Tanjung Pandan. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization has declared 17 tourist attractions in the Belitung Geopark as world geoparks.

Ketapang or Tau-pang in Teochew is the capital city of Ketapang Regency, one of the regencies of West Kalimantan province on the island of Borneo in Indonesia. Ketapang city is located at 1°51′S109°59′E and is a small city on the delta of the Pawan River. Ketapang is served by the Ketapang Airport.
Nagekeo Regency is a regency on the island of Flores in East Nusa Tenggara province of Indonesia. It covers an area of 1,416.96 km2 and had a population of 130,120 at the 2010 Census, and 159,732 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 166,063, comprising 82,016 males and 83,986 females. The regency was established on 2 January 2007 by separation of the former eastern districts from Ngada Regency; it has its administrative seat (capital) in the town of Mbay on the north coast of Flores. It is bordered to the west by the residual Ngada Regency and to the east by Ende Regency, while to the north is the Flores Sea and to the south is the Savu Sea.
Central Halmahera Regency is a regency of North Maluku Province, Indonesia. The regency was originally formed on 15 August 1990 from part of the former North Maluku Regency, but on 25 February 2003 parts of the new regency were split off to form a separate East Halmahera Regency and the city of Kota Tidore Kepulauan. It now comprises just the southern half of the southeastern peninsula of Halmahera Island, together with part of the southern peninsula of that island.

The area which now forms North Penajam Paser was part of the Paser Regency until its creation as a separate regency on 10 April 2002. It covers an area of 3,333.06 km2 and it had 142,922 inhabitants at the 2010 census and 178,681 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid-2022 was 183,043. North Penajam Paser Regency has the smallest area among the seven regencies in East Kalimantan province.

It was created on 10 April 2002 from the former southwest part of West Kotawaringin Regency. The town of Sukamara is the capital of Sukamara Regency, which covers an area of 3,827 km2. The population of the Regency was 44,952 at the 2010 Census and 63,464 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 66,845.

Tanggamus Regency is a regency (kabupaten) of Lampung Province, Sumatra, Indonesia. It has an area of 4,654.96 km² and had a population of 534,595 at the 2010 Census and 640,275 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 652,898. The regency seat is the town of Kota Agung Pusat. The regency was created on 21 March 1997, but districts in its eastern part were split away on 29 October 2008 to form a new Pringsewu Regency. It lies in the southwest of the province, and surrounds Semangka Bay on its west, north and east coasts.
Kubu Raya Regency or Great Kubu Regency is a regency of West Kalimantan, Indonesia. It was created on 17 July 2007 from the (larger) central and southern part of what was at that time the Pontianak Regency. It covers an area of 8,492.10 km2, and it had a population of 500,970 at the 2010 Census and 609,392 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 622,217. The principal town lies at Sungai Raya, directly adjacent to the City of Pontianak. Despite its close location to Pontianak, the regional capital and economic centre of the West Kalimantan Province, Kubu Raya highly lacks sufficient infrastructure development, which has caused general suspicions regarding the performance of its local government.
Ketapang Regency is a regency in the south of the province of West Kalimantan, on the island of Borneo in Indonesia. Ketapang Regency occupies an area of 31,588 km2, and at the census in 2010 it had 427,460 inhabitants following the splitting off of five districts in the north-west of the regency on 2 January 2007 to form the new North Kayong Regency; the 2020 census revealed a growth in population to 570,657 over the intervening decade; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 592,521. The principal town lies at Ketapang.
Tolitoli Regency is a regency of Central Sulawesi Province of Indonesia. It was previously part of a larger Buol Tolitoli Regency, but this was split into two on 4 October 1999 after rapid decentralization of the Indonesian government. The present Tolitoli Regency covers an area of 3,701.54 km2 and had a population of 211,296 at the 2010 Census and 225,154 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 231,711, comprising 118,180 male and 113,530 female inhabitants. Its regency seat is located at the town of Tolitoli, which is a port town and where the regency's population is concentrated.
Bolaang Mongondow Regency is a regency of North Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, situated on the island of Sulawesi. The principal town lies at Kotamobagu, which since 2007 has been administratively separated from the regency, the administrative centre of which is now at the town of Lolak. The Regency covers a land area of 2,933.6 km2, and had a population of 213,484 at the 2010 Census and 248,751 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 254,945.
North Minahasa Regency is a regency in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Its capital is Airmadidi. It was originally part of the Minahasa Regency until it was split off and established as a separate regency on 20 November 2003. It covers an area of 1,059.24 km2, and had a population of 188,904 at the 2010 Census; this had risen to 224,993 at the 2020 Census, and the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 231,791. The Regency includes the offshore islands of Bangka and Talisei to the north of Sulawesi, and Mantenang and Naeng Besar to the northwest.
