The pale-bellied mourner (Rhytipterna immunda) is a species of bird in the family Tyrannidae.
It is found in Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Suriname, and Venezuela. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
The screamers are three South American bird species placed in family Anhimidae. They were thought to be related to the Galliformes because of similar bills, but are more closely related to ducks, and most closely related to the magpie goose. The clade is exceptional within the living birds in lacking uncinate processes of ribs.
