As of the census [2] of 2000, there were 639 people, 244 households, and 183 families residing in the town. The population density was 18.5 people per square mile (7.1/km2). There were 306 housing units at an average density of 8.9 per square mile (3.4/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 100% White.
There were 244 households, out of which 27.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 68% were married couples living together, 4.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.6% were non-families. 19.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
