Russophiles for the Revival of the Fatherland is a Bulgarian political party. The leader of the party is Nikolay Malinov.
On November 1, 2008, a congress was held to create Revival of the Fatherland with 500 generals and officers of the Bulgarian Land Forces in attendance. [1] The two founding groups of the party were two Veterans' organizations; "For the Honor of the Pagan" and the "Green Alliance" with the party officially being founded in 2009 and receiving court recognition on February 11, 2010. [2] In 2014, the party became part of the Patriotic Front coalition. In 2019, the party has been part of the Coalition for Bulgaria led by the Alternative for Bulgarian Revival. In the 2019 Bulgarian local elections the party saw 64 councilors and 8 mayors elected. [3] During the party's congress on September 5, 2020, the party elected Nikolay Malinov as its leader and four members of its Russophile wing were elected to the party's executive board. For the 2021 Bulgarian general election the party was part of the Left Union for a Clean and Holy Republic coalition and signed a memorandum of cooperation with United Russia. [4] [5] [6]

The Communist Party of Bulgaria is a communist party in Bulgaria, currently led by Aleksandar Paunov.
The Bulgarian National-Patriotic Party was a nationalist political party in Bulgaria. First registered in 2004, its leader was Petar Manolov. The party took part in the 2005 parliamentary election, where it won a single seat as part of the right-wing "Attack" coalition. Its MP then deflected from the coalition and voted in support of the centrist Stanishev Government.
Parliamentary elections were held in Bulgaria on 5 July 2009. With 40% of the vote, the decisive winner of the elections was the established in 2006 personalistic party of Boyko Borisov, GERB. The Socialist Party, in power before the election, was in second place, with around 18%. Оnce-ruling National Movement Simeon II did not cross the 4% threshold and won no seats. The turnout was 60.6%, one of the lowest ever. Following the election, GERB leader Boyko Borisov became Prime Minister. Just like all the previous parliamentary elections since the fall of communism, the government was not re-elected.
