Shrewsbury High School is a public high school located in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, United States. It is the only public high school in the Shrewsbury Public Schools district. It is a large school offering a wide variety of electives and extracurricular activities. Shrewsbury High School placed 27th in the list of 21,035 high schools that U.S News reviewed in 2013.[ citation needed ] The current principal is Todd Bazydlo. Shrewsbury High School is part of Shrewsbury Public Schools, the current superintendent of which is Dr. Joseph Sawyer.
The current campus, located on top of a hill on Holden Street, opened in 2002 with a capacity of 1,400 students, though enrollment has increased to 1835 students as of October 2021. [3]
Prior to that it was located at what is now Oak Middle School on Oak Street, and before that was located at what is now Beal School on Maple Avenue.

The school also received the PEP Grant and has fleshed out the classes the school offers in its physical education programs. The new programs include biking and a ropes course.
The boys' hockey team won three state championships in five years between 2014 and 2018 (2014, 2017, and 2018). The boys beat Hanover in 2014 and 2018, and Old Rochester High School in 2017. Following their 2018 State Championship, they were promoted to Division I in Massachusetts High School Hockey, joining the division as an independent team not belonging to a conference.
Improvements to the athletic campus and to the playing and practice conditions of sports, is funded by the Athletic booster club. Shrewsbury High School's campus recently added a turf field, breaking ground in an informal ceremony on June 5, 2018. [4] The new field accommodates lacrosse, soccer, football, field hockey, track and field, and cross country. Physical education class also utilizes the field. The addition of a turf field will hopefully reduce maintenance costs and also generate revenue, as youth sports programs, as well as games and jamborees can be hosted.
Shrewsbury High School offers the unique opportunity where if a sport is not offered, it can be created as a club then, eventually, if popular, can become a sport with proper support. [5] The list of clubs includes:

Shrewsbury High School won Best Overall Production for Urinetown in 2016 and Best Overall Production in the Large School Division for All Shook Up in 2018 and Seussical in 2019 in the TAMY awards
SHS offers a variety of music and theater classes and performing ensembles. The classes include: Music Theory I & AP Music Theory, Theater Arts, Movement for Theater, Theater Design, and Music Technology. [6]

Apponequet Regional High School, located at 100 Howland Road in Lakeville, Massachusetts opened September 21, 1959. Apponequet serves secondary academic education students from the towns of Freetown, and Lakeville. It is the only high school within the Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District.

Millbrook Magnet High School, commonly known as Millbrook High School (MHS), is a public magnet high school located in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is one of thirty-two high schools in the Wake County Public School System. In 2006, Millbrook finished the renovation of its campus which includes a new three-level building, a courtyard for students, and a larger cafeteria making MHS one of the largest and up to date facilities in the area. In 2009, Millbrook High School was granted International Baccalaureate status by the North Carolina Board of Education. The school was named a Magnet School of Excellence by Magnet Schools of America in 2020 and 2024 for its innovative curriculum, strong community building, and success in removing barriers to student success.
Guilderland High School is a public senior high school, located in Guilderland Center, New York. It is part of the Guilderland Central School District. Constructed in 1953, the high school has since undergone additions in 1955, 1960, 1997, 2010, and 2021. Originally, the building functioned as a Junior-Senior High School, but after the construction of Farnsworth Middle School in 1970, the district divided the schools into two. As a school, Guilderland High School's enrollment jurisdiction also includes the village of Altamont, NY and the North Bethlehem neighborhood of Bethlehem, NY.
Mansfield High School(MHS) is a four-year, comprehensive public high school located in Mansfield, Massachusetts, United States. It is the only high school in the Mansfield Public Schools system. MHS has approximately 1,300 students in grades nine though twelve. The school teams are named the Hornets, the mascot is Sting the Hornet, and the school colors are green, white, and black.
Pell City High School is the only public high school serving the Pell City School System. The school has approx. 1,813 students in grades 9-12 and just recently finished adding on a $7.5 million multi-purpose building which houses a 2200-seat sports arena as well as a 400-seat theatre. The school offers an advanced diploma track that allows students to take honors classes in math, and the sciences, and honors or AP classes in English, Chemistry, and History. The school partners with the local community college to allow some students to take freshman college courses half a school day or at night.

York Suburban High School is a Middle-States accredited, comprehensive four-year high school with an enrollment of 850 students located in Spring Garden Township in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
Highland High School is a public high school in Bakersfield, California, United States, providing technology-based instruction across the curriculum. Advanced Placement (AP) and Honors classes are offered for juniors and seniors in English, calculus, statistics, math analysis, U.S. History, government/economics, chemistry, physics, psychology, geology, environmental science, Spanish, and French. Starting in 2015, they offered AP World History to sophomores. The school offers a college preparatory which includes four years of English, four years of mathematics through calculus, four years of Spanish and French, three years of social studies including world civilizations, U.S. history, U.S. government, and economics, and three years of science chosen from biology, earth science, chemistry, and physics.
Loretto High School was a small, Roman Catholic, college-preparatory school for young women in Sacramento, California. Although located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sacramento the school was independent of the diocese. In 2005, Loretto High School celebrated its 50th anniversary. In June 2009, the school closed. Many students transferred to coed Christian Brothers and fellow all-girls St. Francis High School to complete their high school education, while others decided to go to public schools such as Mira Loma High School or El Camino Fundamental High School.
