TV6 was a television channel started by Kinnevik as a channel aimed at women. The channel showed TV shows such as Ricki Lake and Dynasty. During the daytime, the shopping channel TVG would broadcast on the same channel as TV6.

In 1996 Kinnevik started the sports channel Sportkanalen, which broadcast on the same channel as TV6 during the weekend.

On February 2, 1998 the channel was rebranded as Viasat Nature/Crime.

In April 1996, Danish ZTV was closed down along with Sportskanalen, and TV6 was replaced by a new channel called 3+. In the beginning, 3+ time-shared with TVG in the mornings, ZTV in the afternoon and Sportskanalen in the weekend, but eventually these channels closed down.

TV6 was a French private and free national television channel dedicated to music and youth, created on March 1, 1986. Following the 1986 French legislative election, the new opposition government reallocated its slot to M6, leading to its shutdown exactly a year later on February 28, 1987, becoming the first French national television channel to permanently cease broadcasting. M6 took over its frequencies on the following morning of 1 March 1987.
