Technological University, Taunggyi is situated in Ayetharyar township, Taunggyi District, Shan State, Myanmar. The university is run by Ministry of Education (Myanmar).It was established in 1992 as Government Technical Institute and was upgraded to Technical College in 1997 and finally it was upgraded to University level in 2007 and it is known as Technological University, Taunggyi. The school has 84.482 acres wide. Yearly average graduation students are about 500 students.

Technological University (Hmawbi), under Ministry of Science and Technology (Ministry of Education in 2016-2021), is located on the east of the Yangon-Pyay Highway Road, near in Hmawbi Township in the Yangon Region, Myanmar. Its area is 78.04 acres (31.58 ha). At first, it was opened as a Technical High School (T.H.S) on 1 June 1989. Then, on 23 October 1998, it was upgraded to the Government Institute of Technology (G.T.I) and Government Technological College (G.T.C) in January, 2001. Then on 20 January 2007, it was upgraded as a Technological University (Hmawbi) also called TU(Hmawbi). All Engineering programs in TU(Hmawbi) are accredited by Myanmar Engineering Council, which is national accreditation body for engineering education. Moreover, it has been an accociate member of AUN-QA ( ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance) under ASEAN University Network since 25.3.2018. Furthermore, it has obtained ISO 9001:2008 certificate for Quality Management System in 2015 and upgraded to ISO 9001:2015 version in 2018 from Bureau Veritas. There are a total of 33 Technological Universities in Myanmar and Technological University (Hmawbi), Technological University (Thanlyin) and West Yangon Technological University are best engineering schools in Myanmar after Yangon Technological University and Mandalay Technological University.

Technological University (Kyaukse) is a university under the Ministry of Education. It is located at Kyaukse township, Mandalay Region, Myanmar. Government Technical Institute (Kyaukse) was initially opened on 9, December, 1998 at Myopet Street, Yesu Quarter in Kyaukse. The board of the government of Union of Myanmar upgraded it to the Government Technological College (Kyaukse) on 210, January, 2001 and then it to Technological University (Kyaukse) on 20, January, 2007.

The Technological University, Monywa is located on a 48.209 acre campus in Minywa, Sagaing Division, in northwestern Myanmar. It was established in 1982 as Technological High School. In 1986 it became Government Technological Institute. In 1999 it was promoted to Government Technological College (GTC). In 2007 the GTC was upgraded to university status. Now "Technological University (Monywa)" offers both undergraduate and graduate programmes.

On 1 December 1998, it was upgraded to a Government Technical Institute. It became a Government Technological College on 20 January 2007 and a Technological University on 23 February 2012.
