The Global Biodiversity Information Facility [1] lists:
Blattidae is a cockroach family in the order Blattodea containing several of the most common household cockroaches. Notable species include:
Pentatominae is a subfamily of Pentatomidae, a family of shield bugs. This subfamily is the largest one within the Pentatomidae, having 4937 species classified in 938 genera. Species in this subfamily are phytophages and several of them are considered agricultural pests. Some invasive pentatomines such as Halyomorpha halys and Bagrada hilaris have been considered household pests. Higher systematics of the group have been revised by Rider et al.
Nysius is a genus of false chinch bugs in the family Lygaeidae. At least 100 described species are placed in Nysius.
The Ectrichodiinae are a subfamily of assassin bugs (Reduviidae) known for specializing on millipedes as prey. The group comprises more than 600 species in about 115 genera, making it a fairly large subfamily. The bugs are also known for their aposematic coloration, often brightly colored metallic blue, red, or yellow.
Sphedanolestes is a large genus of assassin bugs in the family (Reduviidae), subfamily Harpactorinae. There are more than 190 described species, which are found in southern Europe, Africa and Asia.
Cercopidae are the largest family of Cercopoidea, a xylem-feeding insect group, commonly called froghoppers. They belong to the hemipteran suborder Auchenorrhyncha. A 2023 phylogenetic study of the family suggested the elevation of subfamily Ischnorhininae to full family status as Ischnorhinidae, leaving a monophyletic Cercopinae.
Chremistica is a genus of cicadas from Southeast Asia and Madagascar. Its distribution encompasses India, Sri Lanka, continental South East Asia, Taiwan, Philippines, Malayan Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo and Java, the Lesser Sunda Islands, viz., Lombok, Sumba, Sumbawa and Timor, and Sulawesi, while one group of species is recorded from Madagascar
Antestia is a genus of African and Asian bugs in the subfamily Pentatominae, erected by Carl Stål, 1865.
Dysdercus is a widespread genus of true bugs in the family Pyrrhocoridae; a number of species attacking cotton bolls may be called "cotton stainers".
Edessa is a large New World genus of stink bugs in the family Pentatomidae, containing over 250 described species. Several other genera used to be included until recently, such as Pygoda, Ascra, Paraedessa, Doesburgedessa and others.
Pentatomini is a tribe of shield bugs in the subfamily of Pentatominae.
Coranus is a genus of assassin bugs in the tribe Harpactorini.
Cosmoscarta is a genus of froghoppers found in the Indo-Malayan region. Many of the species are boldly marked in black and red or yellow. A few species are of economic importance as they can cause injury to plants under cultivation.
Scotinophara is a genus of shield bugs in the tribe Podopini and sometimes called "black bugs". Species have a widespread distribution in Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. At least three species: the common black bug, Malayan black bug, and the Japanese rice black bug are significant rice pests.
Scadra is a genus of assassin bug with species distributed in South and Southeast Asia.
Pygoplatys is a genus of Asian shield bugs in the familyTessaratomidae and tribe Tessaratomini, erected by William Dallas in 1851. Species have been recorded from Indochina and Malesia.
