Delta Goodrem concert chronology

The Bunkerdown Sessions was a series of live-stream concerts by Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem, held in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. [1]

Contents

Goodrem commenced the series in April 2020 as a way to stay connected with, and uplift fans during Australia's COVID-19 lockdowns. The Australian live music industry suffered significantly throughout 2020 and 2021 with many venues forced to close, and concert tours either cancelled or postponed. [2] Goodrem's own tour for her album Bridge over Troubled Dreams (2021) was originally scheduled to occur in 2021, [3] but was forced to reschedule twice due to ongoing restrictions. It eventually took place in 2022. [4]

Throughout the lifespan of the concert series, Goodrem and guitarist Matthew Copley live-streamed to Goodrem's social media platforms every Thursday evening from her house in Sydney. [3] [5] In a relaxed and impromptu manner, Goodrem engaged with fans and performed requests. Songs performed regularly included b-sides, rarities and album tracks from across her career, as well as unreleased songs and covers, usually centred around a theme for the week. [6]

Of the series, Goodrem said, “Every week people tuned in and we stayed connected. I got into music for unity – music is about bringing people together.” [1]
