Three Points is an unincorporated community in Travis County, in the U.S. state of Texas. [1] It is located within the Greater Austin metropolitan area.
Three Points was originally known as a three-way intersection where Farm Road 1825 and U.S. Highway 81 met before Interstate Highway 35 was built. On county highway maps from the 1940s, the town was indicated by a business and a few dispersed residences. Highway 81 was realigned to follow the interstate after it was finished in the late 1950s, skipping Three Points by less than half a mile. However, because the community was on the road from Pflugerville to the interstate, several businesses in the region continued to prosper through the 1980s. The Three Points community, which was still included on county highway maps in 2000, continued to see commercial and residential growth. There were no population projections available. [2]

The community is served by the Pflugerville Independent School District. Schools that serve the community today are Caldwell Elementary School, Pflugerville Middle School, and Pflugerville High School.

Pflugerville Independent School District (PfISD) is a public school district based in Pflugerville, Texas (USA). The District encompasses approximately ninety-five square miles and includes all or part of six municipalities including Pflugerville, Austin, Coupland, Hutto, Manor and Round Rock. As of 2013 PISD covers 10.7 square miles (28 km2) of land within the City of Austin, making up 3.4% of the city's territory.
State Highway 130 (SH 130), also known as the Pickle Parkway, is a highway from Interstate 35 (I-35) in San Antonio along I-410 and I-10 to east of Seguin, then north as tollway from there to I-35 north of Georgetown. SH 130 runs in a 91-mile (146 km) corridor east and south of Austin. The route parallels I-35 and is intended to relieve the Interstate's traffic volume through the San Antonio–Austin corridor by serving as an alternate route.

McNeil High School is a public secondary school in an unincorporated area in both Travis and Williamson counties, near Austin, Texas, United States. Serving freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The school is part of the Round Rock Independent School District (RRISD), with admission primarily based on the locations of students' homes in the district. Four middle schools feed into McNeil: Cedar Valley, Chisholm Trail, Pearson Ranch and Deerpark. The school colors are navy blue, forest green, and white, and the mascot is the Maverick.

Interstate 35 (I-35) in Texas is a major north–south Interstate Highway running from Laredo near the Mexican border to the Red River north of Gainesville where it crosses into Oklahoma. Along its route, it passes through the cities of San Antonio, Austin, and Waco before it splits into two auxiliary routes just north of Hillsboro. I-35E heads northeast where it passes through Dallas. I-35W turns northwest to run through Fort Worth. The two branches meet up in Denton to again form I-35, where it continues to the Oklahoma state line. The exit numbers for I-35E maintain the sequence of exit numbers from the southern segment of I-35, and the northern segment of I-35 follows on from the sequence of exit numbers from I-35E. I-35W maintains its own sequence of exit numbers.

Montopolis is bounded by Lake Lady Bird on the north, by Grove Street and the Pleasant Valley neighborhood on the west, to the south by Texas State Highway 71, and by U.S. Route 183 on the east.
