The song was recreated by composer duo Salim–Sulaiman as a single music video. Producer Bhushan Kumar said, "Instead of just remixing the number, we have recreated the track with new lyrics" by Manoj Muntashir. Chhaap Tilak Sab Chheeni, is a Ghazal written and composed by Amir Khusro, a 14th-century Sufi mystic, in popular Western Indian language Braj Bhasha. This poetry is a great example of the role both cultures played to create this Ghazal and Qawwali which has a unique essence combining both Indic and Islamic culture which inherently created a new unique art form which contributed to the early beginnings of the Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb culture to be developed.

Shahzaman is also the grandson of Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan, and grandnephew of the "Shahenshah-e-Qawwali ", Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Shahzaman primarily performs Qawwali, but also performs classical music alongside his father. Shahzaman's vocals and style of singing has been greatly compared to his granduncle's, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, with him sometimes being referred to as "Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan 2.0".
