Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a Pakistani Sufi singer and musician, primarily of Qawwali, devotional music of the Muslim Sufis. He has won awards including Lux Style Awards, UK Asian Music Awards, ARY Film Awards, and Hum Awards.

On June 26, 2019, Rahat was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Music by the University of Oxford. [1] [2] [3] He also won the Wembley Arena Award in 2019. [4] Rahat has won four Lux Style Awards and four UK Asian Music Awards. He also has been nominated four times for Filmfare Awards, four times for IIFA Awards, and four times for Mirchi Music Awards. Rahat received a Lifetime Achievement Award from, and honorary membership in, the Arts Council of Pakistan in Karachi. [5]

Zinda Bhaag is a 2013 Pakistani Punjabi-language drama film co-directed by Meenu Gaur and Farjad Nabi, and produced by Mazhar Zaidi. The film focuses on the issue of illegal migration. The film had a premiere show on 19 September 2013 and a wide release on 20 September. The film was selected as the Pakistani entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 86th Academy Awards, the first in over 50 years. The film was made as part of a project on masculinity titled Let's Talk Men, affiliated with United Nations agencies for the prevention of gender-based violence.

Sohai Ali Abro is a Pakistani actress, dancer and model, who appears in Pakistani television serials and films. She is known for her roles in serials such as Geo TV's Saat Pardon Mein (2012), Hum TV's Tanhai (2013), Khoya Khoya Chand (2013), Rishtay Kuch Adhooray Se (2013) and ARY Digital's serial Pyaray Afzal (2014). Abro made her film debut with a supporting role in the 2013 romantic drama Anjuman. Her performance earned her a nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category at Tarang Housefull Awards. Back 2 Love is an album by Pakistani Qawwali singer Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The album was released globally on 9 June 2014. Back 2 Love is a collection of 10 songs including collaborations with Indian musicians and singers like Salim–Sulaiman and Shreya Ghoshal.

"Samjhawan" (transl. Explain) is a romantic song from the 2014 Bollywood film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Re-created by Sharib−Toshi, the song is sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, with lyrics by Ahmad Anees and Kumaar. The song was originally composed by Sahir Ali Bagga and sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for the Punjabi film Virsa. An "unplugged" version of this song sung by the leading actress of the film, Alia Bhatt, was released on 2 July 2014.

Yasir M Jaswal is a Pakistani singer, writer, filmmaker, and award-winning music director. He was the lead singer for his band Irtaash. He was also the lead vocalist for the band Call. He directed several award-winning music videos and in 2015 he made his feature film debut with Jalaibee. His younger brothers Umair and Uzair Jaswal are also singers and actors. He won Lux Style Award in 2014 for directing music video of Uzair's single Bolay. He has also won best music video director at the Hum Award in 2016 for the song Sajna by his brother Uzair Jaswal. His most recent venture has been a burger joint in Islamabad by the name of Jessie's which he has opened along with his brothers and friend.

"Afreen Afreen" is a ghazal song written by Javed Akhtar and composed by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. It first featured on their collaborative album Sangam in 1996. In 2016, it was covered by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Momina Mustehsan during season 9 of Coke Studio.

Khuda Zameen Se Gaya Nahin Hai is a 2009 Pakistani television series first broadcast simultaneously on PTV Home and Hum TV. It is written by Asghar Nadeem Syed and directed by Kashif Nisar. The cast of the series include Nauman Ijaz, Syed Jibran, Ayesha Khan, Sara Chaudhary, Ayub Khoso and Rasheed Naz. The series revolves around the terrorism in the tribal areas of the Pakistan and army's struggle to eliminate it. The title track of the series was performed by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
