8 Mile: Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture is the official soundtrack album to the 2002 film of the same name. The album, performed by various artists, was released by Universal Pictures' then subsidiary Universal Music, through Interscope and Shady Records. It spawned the hit single "Lose Yourself" by Eminem, who also stars in the semi-autobiographical movie.
Swedish House Mafia (SHM) are a Swedish house supergroup consisting of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. The group officially formed in late 2008, were placed at number ten on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll 2011, and have been called "the faces of mainstream progressive house music", while being credited for "setting the tone for the EDM boom of the early 2010s, more than any other act in modern dance music". In 2012, they were ranked at number twelve on the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll. They are recognized for bringing the Progressive house genre into the mainstream around 2009-2010, together with their compatriot Avicii, standardizing a sound that until recently was relegated to the underground EDM. The trio is also best known for their single, "Don't You Worry Child".
Celebration is the third greatest hits album by American singer-songwriter Madonna, released on September 18, 2009, by Warner Bros. Records. The album features 34 songs spanning Madonna's career since signing up with the label in 1982. It also includes three new songs: "Celebration" which is included on all versions, "Revolver" which is included on the two-disc editions, and "It's So Cool" which is included as a bonus track on some digital two-disc editions. A fourth song, "Broken", was recorded for the album but not used; eventually it was released in 2012 as a limited edition promotional vinyl single for fanclub members. The Singles Collection is the second greatest hits album by American singer Britney Spears. It was released on November 10, 2009, through Jive Records to commemorate her ten-year anniversary since entering the music industry. The compilation was released in many different formats, including a one-disc edition, a CD+DVD edition and a box set, which contained twenty-nine singles, each packaged in its own slip case with original cover art. The CD+DVD edition, as well as the box set, contains a DVD with Spears's music videos.

Disc-Overy is the debut studio album by the British rapper Tinie Tempah, released in Ireland on 1 October 2010 and in the United Kingdom on 4 October, by Parlophone Records. The original album track list includes Kelly Rowland, Ellie Goulding, Labrinth, Emeli Sandé, Eric Turner, Wiz Khalifa, Swedish House Mafia and Range. Disc-Overy uses predominantly upbeat, dance-orientated production with lyrics concerning fame, youth and love. The album earned Tinie two Brit Awards in 2011 and has received Double-Platinum certification by the BPI. It also reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. In July 2011, Disc-Overy was announced as a nominee for the annual Mercury Music Prize.
The Promise is a compilation album by the American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen, released November 16, 2010, on Columbia Records. The album is a collection of previously unreleased songs which were recorded during the Darkness on the Edge of Town sessions in 1977–1978, with some vocals and additional instrumentation overdubs recorded in 2010. It was released in 2CD and 3LP formats. The album is also available as part of the box set The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town Story. The two-CD version of the release entered the UK Albums Chart at number 7. It had been in production for many years and was originally scheduled to be released for the 30th anniversary in 2008. The Promise debuted at number 16 on the Billboard 200, while the box set, The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town Story, debuted at number 27.
"Miami 2 Ibiza" is a song by Swedish house music group Swedish House Mafia and English rapper Tinie Tempah. It was released as the second and final single from the group's debut compilation album Until One (2010) by Virgin Records in October 2010. The song is also included on Tempah's debut album Disc-Overy (2010) and later on the group's second studio/compilation album, Until Now (2012). In January 2011, the single was certified gold in Australia.

Swedish progressive house supergroup Swedish House Mafia have released one studio album, two compilation albums, two live albums, two EPs, sixteen singles, and nine music videos. The trio formed during the mid-2000s whilst touring together and assisting each other in music production, and released the single "Leave the World Behind" in 2009, although all were assigned individual artist credits for the song. The group itself rose to prominence after performing a DJ set at the Cream Amnesia nightclub in Ibiza in 2008, and were later signed by record label EMI in 2010. Until One, a compilation album containing both their own material and mixes of songs by other artists, peaked at number 13 in Sweden and in the top ten of the album charts of The Netherlands and the Flanders region of Belgium: two singles, "One" and "Miami 2 Ibiza", both attained chart success across Europe, with the former topping the Dutch Top 40 and the latter reaching the top five of the Flanders chart, Irish Singles Chart and UK Singles Chart. "One" and "Miami 2 Ibiza" were certified septuple and quintuple platinum in Sweden by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).
#willpower is the fourth studio album by American musician will.i.am, released on April 19, 2013. The album was originally titled Black Einstein and scheduled for release at the end of 2011. It was then renamed #willpower and delayed several more times. The album's first single "This Is Love" features Eva Simons, the second single "Scream & Shout" features Britney Spears, and Justin Bieber is featured on the third single "#thatPower". There is a remix of "Scream & Shout" that features Lil Wayne, Hit-Boy, Diddy and Waka Flocka Flame. Other guest appearances on the album include Afrojack, Juicy J, Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus, Skylar Grey, Nicole Scherzinger, Korean pop group 2NE1 and will.i.am's The Black Eyed Peas bandmate apl.de.ap.
Until Now is the second compilation album by Swedish house music supergroup Swedish House Mafia. The album was released on 19 October 2012 to mixed reviews by music critics who praised its singles and the rework of Coldplay's "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall", but deemed the record to be more suited for live play than home listening. After the album was released, the trio announced that they would split up to continue with their separate projects. The album cover features a negative photo of Axwell, Ingrosso and Angello. The album contains 4 singles: "Save the World", "Antidote", "Greyhound" and "Don't You Worry Child", the latter of which went on to become the group's signature song and biggest hit single to date.
Looking 4 Myself is the seventh studio album by American singer Usher. Released on June 8, 2012 by RCA Records, it is his first album for RCA after the October 2011 merger of the Jive Records group which also included his label, Arista Records, that resulted in both labels being consolidated into the RCA label group. Many producers worked on the songs, and the album features appearances from Luke Steele and ASAP Rocky. Inspired by the electronic duo Empire of the Sun and listening to music originating from several locations, Usher intended the album to contain a more experimental sound, that remained relevant to the music of its time. Defined as "revolutionary pop" by the singer, critics noted that Looking 4 Myself is a dance-pop and R&B album that incorporates the genres pop, hip hop, electronic, Europop, and dubstep. Critic Barry Walters has noted how elements of some of its R&B songs were inspired by the emerging alternative R&B genre.
Global Warming is the seventh studio album recorded by Cuban-American rapper Pitbull. It was released on November 16, 2012 through Mr. 305, Polo Grounds and RCA Records. A teaser for the release was first released onto Pitbull's official Facebook and YouTube channel on September 17, 2012. The production on the album was handled by multiple producers including Afrojack, Sir Nolan, DJ Buddha, Adam Messinger and Nasri. The album also features guest appearances by Christina Aguilera, Usher, Kesha, Chris Brown, Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez and Shakira among others.
John Martin Lindström is a Swedish singer and songwriter. He is best known for his collaborations with Swedish House Mafia. Since 2010, he has collaborated with Tinie Tempah and released his debut single "Anywhere For You", written alongside music partner Michel Zitron. On 3 April 2014 Lindström appeared on the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge covering Haim's "If I Could Change Your Mind".
True is the debut studio album by Swedish electronic music producer Avicii, released on 13 September 2013 by PRMD Music, Lava Records and Sony Music Entertainment's Columbia Records. Avicii said that sonically, the album would move away from his earlier house music sound on previous records by incorporating elements of other genres such as country music. True was preceded by the release of the Aloe Blacc-assisted "Wake Me Up" that featured a rare Marantz Enhanced Digital Stereo audio track and topped several charts around the world, and "You Make Me", which features vocals from Swedish artist Salem Al Fakir.

It was released in the United States on March 11, 2014, and April 7, 2014, in the United Kingdom. The album has charted in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. It includes production and co-songwriting from DJ Khalil, Pharrell Williams, Elton John, Theron Feemster and Rock Mafia. Strings for the entire album were arranged and recorded by Daniel "Danny Keyz" Tannenbaum. The album received a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best R&B Album at the 57th Grammy Awards in 2015.

Paradise Again is the debut studio album by Swedish house music supergroup Swedish House Mafia, released on 15 April 2022 through SSA Recording and Republic Records. It is their third overall album after the two compilations Until One and Until Now. Paradise Again features guest appearances from 070 Shake, ASAP Rocky, Connie Constance, Jacob Mühlrad, Mapei, Seinabo Sey, Sting, Ty Dolla Sign, and the Weeknd.
