The Shire of Buloke is a local government area in Victoria, Australia, located in the western part of the state. It covers an area of 8,004 square kilometres (3,090 sq mi) and, at the 2011 Census, had a population of 6,384. It includes the towns of Birchip, Charlton, Donald, Sea Lake and Wycheproof. It was formed in 1995 from the amalgamation of the Shire of Wycheproof, Shire of Birchip, Shire of Charlton, Shire of Donald, and parts of the Shire of Kara Kara.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, formerly known as Victoria Terminus, is a historic railway station and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India which serves as the headquarters of the Central Railways. The station was designed by Frederick William Stevens according to the concept of Victorian Italianate Gothic Revival architecture and meant to be a similar revival of Indian Goth architecture. The station was built in 1887 in the Bori Bunder area of Mumbai to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria. The new railway station was built to the south of the old Bori Bunder railway station. It is one of the busiest railway stations in India, serving as a terminal for both long-distance trains and suburban trains. The station's name was changed from Victoria Terminus to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in March 1996 in honour of Emperor Chhatrapati Shivaji, founder of the Maratha Empire. In 2017, the station was again renamed Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. However, both the former name “VT” and the current name “CST” are popularly used.

Curyo is a town in the Mallee Ward of the Shire of Buloke, Victoria, Australia. Curyo has a Grain Depot on the Mildura railway line; however, the station closed to passenger and parcels traffic on 11 November 1975. A CFA fire brigade in the area is located on Pratt Road, adjacent to the grain depot. The post office there opened on 20 January 1900 and was closed on 9 January 1976. Curyo used to have a football club and a golf course.

Mount Gambier-Heywood railway line is a 5 ft 3 in line located in Australia which operated from 27 November 1917 to 11 April 1995 between Mount Gambier in the state of South Australia and Heywood in the state of Victoria. It is one of two railway lines built by both state governments following an agreement in 1912 to connect to each other’s railway networks. There has been calls for standardisation over the past 2 decades from Heywood to Wolseley since the Melbourne to Adelaide line was converted in 1995.
