World Miss University is an international beauty contest held annually in Seoul, Korea since 1986, [1] with an average of about 70 contestants every year. [2] The event is to select World Miss University Peace Corp Representatives.
This event was organized by the International Association of University Presidents. After the United Nations named 1986 the Year of Peace, [3] the organizing committee dispatched peace missions to regions in conflict like Kosovo and Rwanda. [1] These days, the event is organized by the World Miss University Organizing Committee which has headquarter in Manhattan, New York, United States.

Lee Hyo-ri is a South Korean singer, record producer, activist, actress and television presenter. She debuted as a member of group Fin.K.L in 1998, which became one of the most popular girl groups in South Korea during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Aside from Fin.K.L, she has also participated in several project groups, including the Refund Sisters and SSAK3 in 2020.
Jung Ji-hoon, better known by his stage name Rain or Bi Rain, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, and record producer. Rain's musical career includes seven albums, 28 singles and numerous concert tours around the world. He achieved breakthrough success with his third Korean album, It's Raining (2004), which spawned the number one single of the same name. The album sold over 200,000 copies in South Korea and one million copies throughout Asia, and established Rain as an international star.

But she is best known for her acclaimed performance in Hur Jin-ho's melodrama Christmas in August, for which she swept the Best Actress awards in 1998. This was followed by another well-received turn in romantic comedy Art Museum by the Zoo. Shim suddenly retired from show business after the Dogme 95 film Interview, at the height of her fame in 2001, and her mystique solidified her status as the most beloved South Korean actress of that decade.

Go Hyun-jung, or Ko Hyun-jung, is a South Korean actress and beauty pageant titleholder. She debuted in the entertainment industry as a Miss Korea runner-up in 1989 and went on to star in Sandglass (1995), one of the highest-rated and critically acclaimed dramas in Korean television history. She retired after marrying chaebol Chung Yong-jin in 1995, then returned to acting after their divorce in 2003. Go has since regained her top star status in Korea, becoming the highest-paid actress on TV after the success of her series Queen Seondeok (2009) and Daemul (2010).
Park Si-yeon is a South Korean actress and beauty pageant titleholder. She joined the Miss Korea 2000 and used that as a springboard to an acting career, she made her acting debut in China in 2004 appeared in minor roles in several CCTV dramas. In 2005 Park was cast in her first starring role in the Korean drama My Girl, though at the time she was more known for dating actor-singer Eric Mun. As she built her filmography in the following years, Park overcame early criticism of her acting skills and eventually gained respect as an actress in TV series such as Bitter Sweet Life, Coffee House and The Innocent Man, as well as the films The Fox Family, A Love, and The Scent.
