Siang, or Ot Siang, is a Barito language of the central Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Lim Kit Siang

Lim Kit Siang is a Malaysian politician. He was Secretary-General of the Democratic Action Party and was its 3rd from 1969 to 1999 for three decades, its second National Chairman, and its first Parliamentary Leader as well as its Central Policy and Strategic Planning Commission Chairman since 2004, after he failed to obtain re-election as Chairman. DAP is currently a component party of the Pakatan Harapan opposition coalition. Yingkiong is a town and the administrative headquarter of Upper Siang district in the Northeast Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is a small town located 250 kilometres (160 mi) to the north of Itanagar,which is the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. and around 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) east of the River Siang in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. Yingkiong town is located at an elevation of 200 metres (660 ft) above sea level. To the west of Yingkiong flows the Siang River, which is geographically known by different other names based on region where it flows as the Brahmaputra River in the Assam Region and Yarlung Zangbo/Tsangpo in Tibet. According to the 2011 Census, the town has a total population of 8,573 persons.

Ann Siang Hill is a small hill, and the name of a one-way road located in Chinatown, Singapore. It was named after Chia Ann Siang, a wealthy businessman. The road links Club Street and Ann Siang Road (安祥路) to South Bridge Road.

The Upper Siang Hydroelectric Project consists of the construction of several hydroelectric power dams in the Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh, India. Minyong people

The Minyong are a sub-group of the Adi people, a tribal people living in Arunachal Pradesh, India. The Minyong are found in East Siang, Upper Siang and West Siang district. They have originated from Riga Village. Their villages are mostly found on the right and left bank of river Siang (Brahmaputra), starting from Tuting-Gelling to plains of Assam, Jonai. They consider Donyi-Polo as their religion but recently there has been conversion to Christianity. Minyong people are known for their bravery as they have fought war against British Expedition to the hilly region in late 19th century. They were the strongest sub tribe of The Adis and considered as the most fearsome warriors of the hills. Like any other tribes of ADI they celebrate Solung, Aran and Etor as their festivals.

In 2015, he submitted his resignation letters to the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM), and started to play as an independent player. Currently, he is the assistant coach for Malaysia mixed doubles national team.
