Rian Agung Saputro is an Indonesian badminton player. He was partnered with Angga Pratama in men's doubles, but split after the 2014 Asian Games. Saputro was then partnered with Berry Angriawan. They debuted at the 2014 Hong Kong Super Series. They won their first Grand Prix Gold title at the 2015 Indonesian Masters. In 2016, he was paired with former Olympic gold medalist, Hendra Setiawan. Saputro was then paired with Setiawan's former partner, Mohammad Ahsan. Ahsan and Saputro's first international title was in China International. They later won silver at the 2017 BWF World Championships.

Angga Pratama is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Jaya Raya Jakarta club. He competed in the men's doubles event in the international tournaments, and together with Ricky Karanda Suwardi, he won the 2015 Singapore Open, became his one and only BWF World Superseries title after beating Chinese pair Fu Haifeng and Zhang Nan by 21–15, 11–21, 21–14.

The 2017 Malaysia Masters Grand Prix Gold was the first grand prix's badminton tournament of the 2017 BWF Grand Prix Gold and Grand Prix. The tournament was held at the Sibu Indoor Stadium in Sarawak, Malaysia from 17–22 January 2017 and had a total purse of $120,000.

The 2014 Korea Grand Prix was the sixteenth badminton tournament of the 2014 BWF Grand Prix Gold and Grand Prix. The tournament was held in Jeonju Indoor Badminton Court, Jeonju, South Korea from 4 until 9 November 2014 and had a total purse of $50,000. This tournament hosted by the Badminton Korea Association, and organized by Jeonbuk National Badminton Association, with the sanctioned from the BWF. The sponsor of this tournament was the Jeollabuk-do, Jeonju city; Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Korea Sports Council; and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation. At the end of the tournament, the host country won four from five titles, and also made a record to win the three consecutive doubles events for the eighth consecutive time. The women's singles title goes to Japanese player.

The 2022 U.S. Women's Open Presented by ProMedica was the 77th U.S. Women's Open, held June 2 to June 5 at the Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina. Minjee Lee won the second of her two major titles, four strokes ahead of runner-up Mina Harigae. Ingrid Lindblad finished leading amateur at tied 11th. She beat the amateur scoring records over 18, 36 and 54 holes and tied the 72-hole amateur record in the tournament.

The 2022 AIG Women's Open was played from 4 to 7 August in Scotland at Muirfield. It was the 46th Women's British Open, the 22nd as a major championship on the LPGA Tour, and the third championship held under a sponsorship agreement with AIG. It was the first Women's British Open to be hosted at Muirfield.

The 2023 Chevron Championship is the 52nd Chevron Championship LPGA golf tournament, held April 20–23, at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas. The tournament is in its second year with Chevron Corporation as the title sponsor and its 41st year as a major championship. The Golf Channel televised the event for the 13th consecutive year, with coverage on NBC Sports for the first time since 1990.
