Elections to High Peak Borough Council in Derbyshire, England were held on 1 May 2003. All of the council was up for election and the control of the council changed from Labour control to no overall control. Boundary changes since the 1999 local elections reduced the number of seats by 1, and meant that all wards had changed boundaries, with the exception of Whaley Bridge ward. [1]

Guildford Council in Surrey, England is elected every four years.
Elections for the Council in the London Borough of Croydon are held every four years to elect 70 councillors. At the last elections, which were held in May 2018, 29 Conservative councillors and 41 Labour councillors were elected, providing a Labour majority of twelve seats.
One third of Preston City Council in Lancashire, England is elected each year, followed by one year without election to allow for the Lancashire County Council elections. Preston is a non-metropolitan district forming a lower-tier of local government under Lancashire County Council.
