Giovanni De Benedictis is a retired Italian race walker, that won 9 medals at individual level, 7 of these at senior level, at the International athletics competitions. He participated at five editions of the Summer Olympics, this like only two others Italian athletes in track and field: the other racewalker champion Abdon Pamich and the sprinter Pietro Mennea. He also won four medals at the IAAF World Race Walking Cup team events.
Ileana Salvador is a former Italian race walker who won eight medals at the World Championships and European Championships
Erica Alfridi is a former Italian race walker, who has won an individual senior level World Race Walking Cup.
The third edition of the European Race Walking Cup took place in the German city of Eisenhüttenstadt on Saturday June 17 and Sunday June 18, 2000. Eleonora Anna Giorgi is an Italian race walker bronze medal at the 2019 World Athletics Championships. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in 20 km walk.
The South American Race Walking Championships is a biennial race walking competition organized by CONSUDATLE for athletes representing the countries of its member associations. Races for senior men and women, for junior and for youth athletes are featured. In addition, there are separate team competitions. The event was established in 1989 as South American Race Walking Cup, and was occurring annually at first. The 2001 event was held in conjunction with the Pan American Race Walking Cup. The name as well as the frequency of the competition were changed in 2004.
The Central American Race Walking Championships is an annual race walking competition organized by CADICA for athletes representing the countries of its member associations. The event was established in 2007 as Central American Race Walking Cup. The name was changed in 2012. Races are featured for senior, junior, youth, and two age groups for both male and female athletes. In addition, there are separate team competitions.
The African Race Walking Championships was a quadrennial race walking competition for athletes representing countries from Africa, organized by the Confederation of African Athletics (CAA). It was established in 1999 and has featured races for senior men and women. The 2005 edition was held jointly with the African Combined Events Championships. The 2009 edition also featured junior events. The 2013 men's event was part of the IAAF World Race Walking Challenge.

The 2012 South American Race Walking Championships were held in Salinas, Ecuador, on March 17–18, 2012. The track of the championship runs in El Malecón de Salinas.
The 2008 South American Race Walking Championships were held in Cuenca, Ecuador, on March 15-16, 2008. The track of the championship runs in the Avenida España.
The 2001 South American Race Walking Championships were held in Cuenca, Ecuador, on October 27–28, 2001. The track of the Cup runs in the Avenida España, Parque Calderón. The event was held jointly with the 2001 Pan American Race Walking Cup. The results for the 20 km races were extracted from the Pan American Race Walking Cup results, while the South American Race Walking Championships additionally featured separate races for men in 35 km, and for junior and youth athletes.
Massimo Stano is a male Italian racewalker. He competed in the 20 kilometres walk event at the 2015 World Championships in Athletics in Beijing, China, finishing in the 19th position, and the same event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan, finishing in first place. On 24 July 2022, Stano won the 2022 World Athletics Championships with a championship record.
Dzmitry Mikhailavich Dziubin is a Belarusian male racewalking athlete. He was the bronze medallist in the 50 kilometres race walk at the 2018 European Athletics Championships and won silver medals in that event at the European Race Walking Cup and Military World Games in 2019. He has represented Belarus twice at the World Athletics Championships and is a five-time participant at the World Race Walking Team Championships.
