Accolades

Internationally, Patema Inverted and The Wind Rises were nominated for the Asia Pacific Screen Award for Best Animated Feature Film. The Wind Rises was also in competition for the Golden Lion at the 70th Venice International Film Festival. The Wind Rises won the New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Animated Film and was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film. The Wind Rises and A Letter to Momo have been nominated for the Annie Award for Best Animated Feature at the 41st Annie Awards. The Wind Rises has also been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and Possessions has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film at the 86th Academy Awards.

The Wind Rises is a 2013 Japanese animated historical drama film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, animated by Studio Ghibli for the Nippon Television Network, Dentsu, Hakuhodo DY Media Partners, Walt Disney Japan, Mitsubishi, Toho and KDDI. It was released in Japan on 20 July 2013 by Toho, and in North America by Touchstone Pictures on 21 February 2014.

<i>Pokémon Origins</i> 2013 Japanese anime television film

Pokémon Origins, known in Japan as Pocket Monsters: The Origin, is a Japanese anime television mini series based on Nintendo's Pokémon franchise which follows the plot of Pokemon Red and Blue. Like the television series, it was not owned by Media Factory. Animation is handled by Production I.G, Xebec, and OLM, Inc., and the film is split into four parts, each directed by a different director from these studios. It was broadcast on TV Tokyo on October 2, 2013, ten days before the release of the X and Y video games, and began streaming internationally on Nintendo's Pokémon TV service from November 15, 2013 to December 2, 2013. On September 14, 2016, the first episode of the series was released for free on the official Pokémon YouTube channel and was later removed in 2017.

Hozuki's Coolheadedness is a Japanese manga series that was written and illustrated by Natsumi Eguchi. The plot revolves around Hozuki, a demon who works for the King and Head Judge of Hell. Kodansha serialized the manga in the magazine Morning between March 2011 and January 2020, and chapters were collected in thirty-one tankōbon volumes.

Several of her songs have been used as openings and endings of anime and radio dramas. She has also written the screenplays of various anime series under the alias of Deko Akao, including Noragami, Frame Arms Girl and After the Rain.

<i>Given</i> (manga) Japanese manga series by Natsuki Kizu

Given is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Kizu. It has been serialized in the bimonthly manga magazine Chéri+ since 2013, and has been collected into eight tankōbon volumes by Shinshokan. The series follows a group of four students in an amateur rock band, and the dual romantic relationships that form among them: between electric guitarist Ritsuka Uenoyama and vocalist Mafuyu Satō, and between bassist Haruki Nakayama and drummer Akihiko Kaji.

Shion Wakayama is a Japanese voice actress affiliated with Himawari Theatre Group. She joined the group at the age of three and did acting in various television dramas. Urusei Yatsura (うる星やつら) is a Japanese anime television series produced by David Production based on the manga series of the same name by Rumiko Takahashi. It is the second television anime adaptation of the manga, following the 1981 adaptation by Kitty Films that ran until 1986. The series premiered on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block on October 14, 2022, and is scheduled to run for 46 episodes across two split two-cour seasons, with most episodes having two segments per half-hour.

<i>My Tiny Senpai</i> Japanese manga series

My Tiny Senpai is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Saisō. It has been serialized in Takeshobo's Storia Dash website since April 2020, with its chapters collected into eight tankōbon volumes as of February 2024. An anime television series adaptation produced by Project No.9 aired from July to October 2023.
