The 2015 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualification was a men's under-23 football competition which decided the participating teams of the 2015 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations. Players born on or after 1 January 1993 were eligible to compete in the tournament. [1]

Contents

A total of eight teams qualified to play in the final tournament, including Senegal who qualified automatically as hosts. [2]

The top three teams of the final tournament will qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics men's football tournament in Brazil. [3]

Format

Qualification ties were played on a home-and-away two-legged basis. If the aggregate score was tied after the second leg, the away goals rule would be applied, and if still level, the penalty shoot-out would be used to determine the winner (no extra time would be played). [1]

The seven winners of the third round qualified for the final tournament.

The qualification phase of the 2017 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations decided the participating teams of the final tournament. A total of eight teams will play in the final tournament, to be hosted by Zambia.

The 2017 CAF Champions League qualifying rounds were played from 10 February to 19 March 2017. A total of 55 teams competed in the qualifying rounds to decide the 16 places in the group stage of the 2017 CAF Champions League.

The 2018 African U-17 Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament was the 6th edition of the African U-17 Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament, the biennial international youth football competition organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to determine which women's under-17 national teams from Africa qualify for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

The 2018–19 CAF Champions League qualifying rounds were played from 27 November to 23 December 2018. A total of 56 teams competed in the qualifying rounds to decide 15 of the 16 places in the group stage of the 2018–19 CAF Champions League.
