The 2021 Indy Lights season was the 35th season of the Indy Lights open wheel motor racing series and the 19th sanctioned by IndyCar, acting as the primary support series for the IndyCar Series. After going into a hiatus in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the season started on April 17 at Barber Motorsports Park and was held over 20 races spanning ten meetings. [1]

The provisional 2021 race calendar was announced on October 21, 2020, with the final round to be announced at a later date. [26] This last round was later confirmed to be at Barber Motorsports park, after the IndyCar series moved its season opener there. [27] The calendar was the first since 2002 to not feature the Freedom 100 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Toronto round originally scheduled was replaced by a standalone second weekend at Mid-Ohio in October.

Juncos Hollinger Racing, formerly Juncos Racing, is an Argentine-American racing team competing in the NTT IndyCar Series, Indy Lights and Indy Pro 2000 Championship series in the Road to Indy ladder for IndyCar. Owned by Ricardo Juncos, who formed the team in 1997, the team was initially based in Argentina before limited racing opportunities in that country led to the team moving to the United States. The team is currently based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Following Williams F1 shareholder Brad Hollinger's entry to the team as partner in 2021, the team was renamed to Juncos Hollinger Racing.
Callum Benjamin Ilott is a British racing driver currently competing in the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship racing for Jota Sport in the Hypercar category.
Enaam Ahmed is a British-Pakistani racing driver. He currently competes in the 2023 Indy NXT driving for Cape Motorsports. Ahmed previously competed in the 2022 Indy Pro 2000 Championship driving for Juncos Hollinger Racing and previously drove for RP Motorsport in the 2021 season.

The 2019 Indy Lights season was the 34th season of the Indy Lights open wheel motor racing series and the 18th sanctioned by IndyCar, acting as the primary support series for the IndyCar Series. Oliver Askew won a tight championship race with Rinus Veekay. Askew won seven races to Veekay's six. Toby Sowery, Robert Megennis, and Ryan Norman each captured a single race win as did Aaron Telitz, who only participated in seven mid-season races, and Zachary Claman, who won the season opener but dropped out of the series after six races due to funding issues. Julien Falchero also dropped out of the season after four races after expected good results failed to materialize. Jarett Andretti made his first and only Indy Lights start in the Freedom 100 and set fastest lap on his way to a sixth place finish. Dalton Kellett moved onto IndyCar after this season despite only registering a single podium finish in 2019 Indy Lights.

Linus Hans Fredrik Lundqvist is a Swedish racing driver who currently competes for Chip Ganassi Racing in the IndyCar Series. He previously competed in Indy Lights driving for HMD Motorsports with Dale Coyne Racing, having won the 2022 championship. He is also the 2020 Formula Regional Americas Champion. He made his IndyCar debut in 2023 driving the #60 Meyer Shank Racing Honda.
The 2020 Indy Lights season was to have been the 35th season of the Indy Lights open wheel motor racing series and the 19th sanctioned by IndyCar, acting as the primary support series for the IndyCar Series. The opening round at St. Petersburg was suspended mid-way due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The following rounds were also delayed, as a revised calendar was released on March 26, 2020. The season was later cancelled entirely and the series went into a hiatus until 2021, making it the first time in history that the Indy Lights season did not run.
