Kansas Speedway is a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) tri-oval race track in Kansas City, Kansas. It was built in 2001 and hosts two annual NASCAR race weekends. The NTT IndyCar Series also raced there until 2011. The speedway is owned and operated by the International Speedway Corporation.

The race was held on Friday, March 4, 2022, in North Las Vegas, Nevada at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a 1.5 miles (2.4 km) permanent D-shaped oval racetrack. The race was ran over 134 laps. Chandler Smith of Kyle Busch Motorsports would win the race after making a last lap pass on Zane Smith. This was Smith's third career win, and the first of the season. To fill out the podium, Kyle Busch of Kyle Busch Motorsports and Stewart Friesen of Halmar Friesen Racing would finish second and third, respectively. Zane Smith was going to be awarded with second place, but was disqualified after post-race inspection, due to the team having lug nuts that didn't meet the NASCAR specifications.

The race was held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, in Austin, Texas, at the Circuit of the Americas, a 3.426 miles (5.514 km) permanent road course. The race was ran over 46 laps due to multiple overtime restarts. Zane Smith of Front Row Motorsports would win race, after taking the lead with two laps to go. This was Smith's fifth career truck series win, and his second of the season. To fill out the podium, John Hunter Nemechek and Kyle Busch of Kyle Busch Motorsports would finish second and third, respectively.
